Bad Customer Service
We ordered a Burley Bee bike trailer online, it said 4 day delivery but you will be contacted if this is not possible, fair enough. So we ordered it on a Thursday evening, hoping to have it for the following week. There was no email confirmation after the order and by Saturday I phoned, spoke to Henry who took another email address and said he would send me the email confirmation that afternoon himself.... Countless phone calls and emails and still no email confirmation and delivery date, Henry gave dates it might turn up but nothing in writing. Eventually we just said cancel the order, we'll buy it somewhere else, Henry became very rude on the phone, we were told we would have to accept the order and either return it in store or we'd be charged £60 to send it back!! We then received a first email from discount bicycles, (8 days after the order was made online) stating a delivery date of the following Wednesday, 13 days after the original order. The trailer never turned up on this date so I can only assume our order was cancelled. If we had just had an email in the first place and an explanation of why the order was delayed or what was happening then fine but we had to keep chasing to only encounter a rude member of staff.
We have since ordered elsewhere and got it within 48hours!! This is good customer service. We thought we would try supporting a local business but no, don't bother.
