Home Mini Problem

Whilst my problem with the Home Mini was not easy to sort out, Octopus continued to offer their help and advice until eventually through trial and error I was able to get the device back working. Jodie was helpful and understanding throuhout and followed up each time. Excellent service Octopus

Fitting rooms unavailable…

Collecting an order from Lichfield shop only to find that the item could not be tried on for size as the fitting rooms were out of use. Come on FatFace, this is not good enough

I am sorry to hear about your recent experience.

I have contacted the Lichfield store this morning, who have explained that due to a leak in their roof, the fitting rooms are currently unavailable. This is being looked at internally and repairs are under way, however for safety reasons I am sure you can understand they cannot be open at this time.

Review of Dobbies Garden Centres

Not a pleasant place to eat

Visited Dobbies at Gailey today with a view of lunch in their restaurant. This used to be a lovely garden centre to visit and eat before they made the restaurant dog friendly. Today there were dogs constantly barking for over half an hour with the owners completely oblivious to the fact; so we left as did others. There are plenty of other garden centres around where we will eat in future, as this isn't the first time.

Not very happy. went well on ordering only it said…

All went well on ordering only it said free postage over £30 but that didn't happen & we had to pay £3.99 for postage.

Great Service

Great help and advice from Jodie on the telephone which was quickly followed by an email containing more information together with a link to the site to place my spares order. Clicked the link, ordered the part and paid. Part was despatched same day with delivery next day. You can't ask for better service than that.
I fitted the part the same day and my dash cam is now back up and running, Highly recommend this company.

Online Order

I placed my order online and the card payment was authorised but then something went wrong and the order wasn't confirmed. I telephoned GAK who to start with were less than helpful and suggested I put my problem in an email. I told them that I wanted it sorting there and then and they then attempted to sort it. The suggestion was to place another order which I did and that was delivered next day. However my original order got reinstated two days later despite me asking that it be cancelled. Another phone call and a promise that it would be cancelled Eventually I received confirmation of this.
A case of when it works its good but when it doesn't its not so good

I'm sorry for all the trouble with your order, Terry! I can see that initially there was a problem with the online payment. It looks like a member of our mail order team asked our developers to sort this out and process the order for dispatch. I can see there has been some time lag here which has confused matters! The order was eventually processed but it has now been cancelled and the preauthorised card payment has been reversed. Please allow 2-3 days for your bank to clear the funds back to your available balance. We are currently tested a new and improved online payments system which should remove errors such as this moving forward but I'm so sorry for the trouble this has caused!
