Woofers and Barkers are fantastic! My order came so quickly and even came with a little treat. If you’re in the area, it’s definitely worth visiting their store in Holt - lovely friendly people, offering really useful advice.

Arrived within the time window

Arrived within the time window, and very friendly and helpful team who did the delivery. Only suggestion would be to maybe give customers a call 30 minutes in advance of the delivery.

Ridiculous Delays

I had used Vision Direct for years and always appreciated their quick turnaround on my orders, but my last experience has now put me off ordering from them ever again.
I placed the order back at the beginning of June, expecting it a couple of days later. I then got an email it will be delayed by a week, then after chasing it up a number of times, I was told a number of different dates. The last straw was when I was told they won’t be restocking until 5th September after nearly a month of chasing.
I have cancelled my order, gone to another supplier and told I’ll receive them in 4 days.

AVOID!

Placed an order on 30th March. By 8th April I’d had no notification that it had been dispatched so contacted Customer Services who blamed the delay on the tariffs. After asking multiple times when it would be delivered by, they could not confirm when so I requested the order was cancelled and a refund provided on 14th April. I continued to chase them as to when the refund would reach me, and then on 27th April I received a notification saying my order was on its way.
I contacted them yet again to remind them I requested a refund two weeks ago, only to be told my only option was to refuse the delivery, with the refund only payable once they’ve received the product which could be weeks away, if they even acknowledge the return.
Massively inconvenienced thanks to their error. AVOID!!

I like Trainline and the split ticket…

I like Trainline and the split ticket capabilities, but I don’t like how they randomly apply fees every now and then. It just doesn’t make sense. So many other networks offer the tickets with no booking fee so I just use them in the event my journey isn’t a split ticket one.

Fantastic experience with Cozmo

Fantastic experience with Cozmo! From the flexibility around being able to visit the showroom, to the final delivery - I cannot recommend Cozmo enough. Very informative and friendly, and the sofa is excellent quality. My only suggestion would be to not turn down the delivery men’s offer of constructing the sofa - I learnt this to my own detriment as it wasn’t as easy as i had initially thought!!

Really great delivery service. Delivered within the indicated time slot and got a call 20mins before their arrival. They even offered to construct my furniture - I just wish I accepted their offer!!

5 weeks on and still no deposit returned

UPDATE: Contacted Customer Experience twice since their comment on mg original post, which was nearly 2 weeks ago, and still no response!

Whilst I got the equipment delivered and it all worked fine. I have been waiting for nearly 5 weeks since I returned the equipment for my deposit to be returned to me. I was initially told there was some sort of technical error and should receive it in a couple of days. Three weeks later and having sent numerous emails chasing this - I have still not received it. Not impressed!

Awful communication

Had a parcel sent from TalkTalk via Yodel. I was not due to be in so tried to change it to collect plus, but that wasn’t an option. Tried to contact Yodel multiple times but agents were always busy. Parcel was delivered to my neighbour at 11:40 (she kindly text me), but didn’t receive any notification from Yodel until 15:30 and it didn’t say where it had been delivered to. Shocking.

Really poor experience so far with Moleskine. No UK support, and when you do get through to to them, they don’t answer the question. No confirmation email has been received despite them stating it has been sent to the correct email address. Really poor experience. Avoid where possible.

Great experience with Carpet Right

Had a great experience with Carpet Right. I opted for the free survey which really helped with working out the exact measurements, the different carpet options and also fitting options.
The fitting was very efficient and they managed to finish three rooms in two hours.
I would thoroughly recommend the free survey as through efficient use of carpet lengths, it helped me save further money and also gave me peace of mind.
