They sell a policy via Moneysupermarket…

They sell a policy via Moneysupermarket which states that breakdowns are covered, yet when you try and claim for a breakdown it's actually an emergency cover plan which only covers you in the event of total loss of hot water/heating as opposed to any type of fault.

Oh and make sure you read their list of exclusions, (which they don't want to make obvious at point of sale like other companies do, just keep it hidden in the T&Cs) they'll be making sure you'll be charged one way or another for the job despite having so called cover in place even on their proper maintenance plan (sold via their website direct)

All is forgiven EDF, at least you didn't try to make constant extra charges.

Plusheat, what a joke of a policy.

Edit 23/12/24 - just to clarify for anyone who has read their response it makes my point. Ensure you read the extensive list of exclusions.

Secondly, a further repair is needed to my system which has been ascertained after I left this review, part of which isn't covered (expansion tank fitted, surprise surprise) but there are other parts which are which isn't related. Because the plumbing company is quoting them for it all as one job, they're now trying to exclude all of it and put the full cost on me because the job of 3 parts includes the word expansion tank in it.

No Michael, I won't be removing this 1 star (don't even deserve 1 star) review as you asked me to do.

Just don't bother with this company

Just don't bother with this company, ordered a wardrobe with a 7-14 day delivery date.

That passed, was told a further 2 weeks.

That passed, was told they were arriving the next day at the point of contact and that it'd be arranged to be delivered. That was over a week ago.

The only way to contact them is via email, which now seems to have stopped responding so quick and a live chat that never sends you to a human.

Suffice to say I'll be getting my money back one way or another.

Edit - so they promise a refund, nothing appears for a week. I chase them up and they only then issue it a week later.
Am I surprised, no not really. Seems this company doesn't want to listen to the feedback on this site.

Unfortunately there was a delay in production of this particular range of wardrobes and we only recently received the stock from our suppliers.

Shocking service

Shocking service, kept getting an order wrong so many times, unable to follow simple instructions.

Had to chase up so many times to resolve. Had to chase up their goodwill gesture refund too, unbelievable.

Certainly won't be using again.

I've had a look into this and it seems there was an error when sending this off to our contractor. From discovering this error we expedited this as best we could and made sure the goodwill refund was sent into your account.

Won't be buying any shark product again…

Won't be buying any shark product again in the future.

Vacuum arrived with a damaged part, asked for another. That arrived damaged, asked for another that arrived damaged, asked for another... finally it arrived undamaged.

Vacuum cleaner has been leaving black marks across our laminate flooring (rubber wheels), customer service has been shocking following me raising it.

I'm done, back to Dyson.

Purchased 3 items in the 3 for 2…

Purchased 3 items in the 3 for 2 Christmas deal.

One item is delivered, the other two are one at cost and one "free" item which never turned up. I get a refund for the second item but that means I ended up paying full price for the one item that was delivered.

Boots has no incentive to make sure the items turn up as they still have the money for the one item which was overpriced at full cost, I only purchased the 3 for 2 as it made the items cheaper, however individually they are expensive.

Won't be shopping at Boots ever again.

What a joke of a company.

While the charger wouldn't accept the WeCharge RFID card the call handler resolved it quickly and got us up and charging quickly.

Overpriced liars

Overpriced liars.

Giving false information at the point of sale, which includes lying about prospective buyers queuing at their door for the type of property through to how much the fees are by not clearly including the VAT in the price.

Will never ever touch again and wouldn't recommend them on anyone.

Good sevice in store, insightful staff.
Customer Services support is good but you get the feeling they're under staffed. Takes a while to respond to emails and answer calls.
However always friendly and provide good outcomes.

Good quick service, however...

The process was to call me to arrange a delivery date, I didnt get that call I just got an email saying "It'll be delivered on X".

X wasn't suitable for me and it was a good job I caught it as the time difference between order and proposed delivery was a couple of days, rearranging order was quick and easy.

Just a shame they didnt try and organise the order first and cause potential issue trying to deliver when I wouldnt have been about.
