My previous review of the ivy Chichester was a true reflection at the time. It didn’t meet the expectations and standards on our wedding day that I’d expected, and had previously experienced at this top end restaurant.
Following my review I received an email, and phone call from the acting assistant manager Tristan. Tristan apologised and offered us a gesture of goodwill, which we accepted. He booked us a table for our first wedding anniversary in this restaurant. What can we say the service was totally wonderful, on arrival we were created with best wishes at reception, and was shown to our table by Harvey. He was very nice, polite and helpful, making us feel very comfortable and relaxed. Hannah and I couldn’t have asked for a better welcome. We then met Elouise our waitress,who was great, very professional and attentive to all of our needs.
Pedro, the restaurant manager introduced himself and thanked us for giving them another chance to change our minds on our poor previous experience.
From being contacted by Tristan with his personal, professional customer service, this time round it was a first class experience. It just goes to show with the right people in place, and working hard to meet the customers expectations, you can turn things around.
So I would now recommend using the Ivy Chichester with the current management structure in place As for my wife Hannah and myself, we will be going back for certain to celebrate special family occasions in the future.

It’s our wedding anniversary coming up soon. The 4th October, and you look back and think what would or could we have been better even tho it’s was an amazing wedding day.
The downside was booking up the Ivy Chichester for lunch following our registry service wedding with a few guests.
I’ve been to enough ivy restaurants over the country to recognise brilliant attentive staff. If I’m mistaken that’s why you book the ivy for these type of once in a lifetime events or very special occasions.
My wife and I still talk about our we were let down on our beautiful day. The thing that sticks in my throat is that we wrote to complain. and the management never even responded with an apology looking at all their reviews it appears they only respond to positive feedback. It maybe they thought we were after something in return, but that wasn’t the case we just wanted to bring to their attention the appalling service on our special day, and a year on it still gets to us.
So we are warning other couples thinking of using this particular Ivy to think again before booking it because believe me I’ve had better service in McDonalds.

Sorry to say It’s all about the management of the place and the staff. Maybe they have become complacent, and just relying on the Ivy brand. So to the management of the Ivy Chichester I say we still want a written apology, and suggest you raise your game and maintain the high standards that is expected from your restaurant.

My partner and I have just reserved a new build property at Ryebank Gate with David Wilson Homes Yapton. We had the pleasure to meet the sales representatives, Maria and Tracey, who were kind, considerate and very professional with their entire approach to selling us a property. They took us through all the various options to make a purchase, took time to consider our needs and understood the significance of such a major purchase. May we suggest that if you are looking to purchase a new build in the area, you should consider making an appointment with the two ladies above to ensure you get the best professional service. All the staff and management at David Wilson Homes have been fantastic and we would highly recommend this company.

Firstly, on arriving we was met by a lovely lady called Pina, she was welcoming and made myself and a friend feel very relaxed. She was very professional in her approach to the sale of the property we were interested in. Pina was very informative indeed about the company and the product itself. After a few hours I put a deposit on a new house. The lesson for every business is to ensure that they have front customer facing staff like Pina polite, knowledgeable and welcoming all the time available job well done! Martin

What can I say! But if you are looking for someone to carry out Face Painting for your children, or for a Balloon Artist to engage and excite your child's imagination look no further you've found all you need from TICK BOOM. Both Deborah the face painter, and Shelley the balloon artist were both amazing, and the interaction with all the children at our Maddie's birthday party was just incredible, and the atmosphere was electric from start to finish. I cannot thank them enough for making our 6 year old a very happy little lady on her very special day. Thank you Ladies for a great job well done! And all your hard work on the day to say the least. Hi Guys, the shed/log-cabin arrived on time as promised, the delivery driver was very nice and helpful. All the staff have been very professional, polite when dealing with me over the phone. The cabin was easy to erect. I also purchased the paint to protect the cabin great colours and easy to apply. I recommend the these log cabins/sheds very good quality product. Regards Martin Baxter
