Not had a very good experience at all. Not good build quality or customer service.
I ordered a PC but was told it would be a 10 day wait due to waiting on parts. I was ok with this. During the 2nd week, within the 10 days waiting period and before dispatch, I decided to cancel my order.
There is no cancel option on the website and you have to message customer support. Unfortunately, a couple days after requesting my cancellation, they dispatched the PC.
I did not want to make too much of a fuss, so I set the PC up to see if I would change my mind and keep it. On first switch on, the fan was making a low pitched rumbling noise and was whirring a top speed.
After 15 minutes of run time, I restarted it and it came up with a screen saying "CPU Over Temperature Error!"
So, I can't recommend the build quality either.
I used their website return form. I then got a call from a support agent talking about possible repair, but I said I wanted a refund. I set up a return with them. In fairness, the collection time was quick and next day.
I then received an email which said my PC would be in for repair. I replied to this saying that I wanted a refund and not a repair.
Then, when another support agent got hold of the PC, I got an alert saying "visual inspection done" and the next stage in the process was for repair. I was getting very wound up by then. Again I stated I wanted a refund, to make sure I didn't receive the PC back.
Now the PC has been sat with them for 4 days, even after they said the returns process would be complete within 3 days.
So, still waiting for my money back and no responses/updates since.
I can't recommend you use Scan, based on this terrible service level.
