After waiting for weeks
After waiting for weeks, Mattress arrived with cosmetic marks. After sending proof, I was given a partial refund, then later a free topper when I complained of severe back pain. The topper didn’t help and I eventually used the 100-night trial to request a full refund.
The return process has been a nightmare. A DPD collection was arranged but failed (Soak & Sleep admitted this was their error). Now I’ve been told to wait nearly a month for the British Heart Foundation to collect before I can get my refund. I was even told to contact the charity myself to organise this, which is unacceptable. My contract is with Soak & Sleep, not BHF.
I’ve been left in ongoing pain, out of pocket, and without a usable mattress while they hold my money. When I expressed this after going back and forth for days being told different things, I was told previous “goodwill” refunds should be treated as compensation for this current failure which is absurd, as they were only issued because of their earlier mistakes. I needed the money to order a new mattress.
Poor customer service, poor product, and very poor handling of refunds. Never ordering anything from this company again. Would get better service elsewhere.
