I bought a dishwasher

I bought a dishwasher. It worked well but the baskets have all rusted and the prongs fallen off. The cost of replacing them costs more than a new dishwasher. Not environmentally friendly. The cost of new baskets should be more realistic. The baskets should be more resilient. Everything else about the dishwasher has been fine.

A fantastic service from Anita Williams. The sale of our property was handled very well. Good timely communication throughout the process. Anita was very helpful and always calm and professional. Nothing to fault.

An excellent service.

YOPA provided an excellent service from beginning to end of the process of selling our property. This was very much down to the efforts of Wayne Robertson who was helpful and informative at every stage going above and beyond what I would ever have expected of an estate agent. This included checking the apartment, checking for specific mail, helping organise repairs when we were not there. Even letting us collect keys from his home when we locked ourselves out. Excellent communication from YOPA and Wayne. Most importantly, the final sale was within 1% of our asking price. I cannot fault the service provided.

HIFX - No transparency of charges

The actual costs to the customer are hidden so any comparison would be time consuming and difficult. There are definitely charges contained in the difference between the average exchange rate and that offered. I estimate about 1.5 to 2 %. Why do these charges need to be hidden. Transparency please.

I'm really sorry you were dissatisfied with the exchange rates you received.

As you quite rightly say, like your high street bank, we make our money in the difference between our buy and sell prices i.e. the spread. Unlike your bank, we have much lower overheads and buy huge volumes of currency each year, so we can pass these extra savings on to you.

In addition, to ensure we continue to offer consistently competitive exchange rates, every couple of weeks we get an independent research company called DQM to check all the main high street bank/building society exchange rates to make sure our overall price (including banking charges, exchange rates and other fees) is better. We also include all the main currency co's.

As a result, HiFX has a hard earned reputation for providing excellent value for money, complete peace of mind AND great customer service if and when you need it. It's this mix which we believe, makes us unique and why we've transferred over £100 billion on behalf of both business and personal customers.

We're not complacent by any means and we're constantly looking at new ways of improving the transparency of the services we offer in the future so watch this space, but as i said when it comes to offering value for money, complete peace of mind and the best security in the industry we honestly believe we offer a unique service.
