All you could hope for in Family Law

With a number of years of having substantial difficulty around contact arrangements, I cannot express enough gratitude for the skill, expertise, guidance and advice I received from Bethan at Stowe Family Law. This has resulted in outcomes for the children that are supportive of their relationships with both parents.

Through all of this there has been a balance of understanding, empathy and pragmatic advice. This meant that I felt represented in a way that was true to my principles and able to move forward with confidence that my position, along with fair and reasonable outcomes, could be presented on my behalf without inflaming an already difficult and nuanced case. Whilst no promises or predictions were made, I understood clearly what would be a reasonable position to present for consideration. Through the professionalism and diligence of all who worked on my case the court could also consider my position and rationale behind matters not agreed, and do so clearly, when making decisions in the best interest of the children.

Bethan is a credit to her profession and to Stowe Family Law. No parent would wish they have to instruct solicitors or go to court but my experience is that should you need to, then I would not think twice about instructing Stowe Family Law.

Julian was great

Julian was great, we already knew what we wanted but the courtesy, consideration and professionalism was very evident along with a natural warmth. We’d considered a couple of extra add ons for a later date but the knowledge of Julian in highlighting differences in fabrics when ordering at different times helped massively. Well done and thank you to Julian!

Incredible customer service

Brilliant, helpful, knowledgable, considerate, and pro active customer service at a time where rival companies seemed passive and disinterest until you engaged them.
Great store, clean, tidy, well presented and stocked. Spent time with John and Steve on consecutive days, the level of experience and willingness to look after their customers really came through. Thanks to both, and additional thanks to the manager who also came over to thank us for our business and also ensured we were in the best hands on our second visit. Huge well done for truly excelling in every way.

Review of Skyglass

Don’t bother

Paid extra for Sky Glass along with the Sky Sports package largely to watch EFL games, and the red button. Wish I hadn’t bothered, yet to watch a single red button game this season since switching with freezes every couple of mins. Tried plugging the TV directly into the router and no improvement. Reported to Sky and no fix, no refund unless the fault can be replicated for 24 hours which is impossible on red button and on a football match that lasts 90 mins. Clearly unfit for purpose, clearly a rip off. Outside of red button, picture and sound is average, blocky blacks on dark images, no punch from the audio. Don’t waste your time or money

Seems commonplace...

Seems commonplace that the sales process was fine, (note they get their House Builders rating from you on move in so post service is negated) customer service post move is shocking.
Several initial issues had to be chased, some ignored, some from no contact. Had issues with poorly connected electrical sockets, warped wardrobe doors, badly fitted fridge freezer and kitchen cupboards.
Our biggest issue is that we received turf as a buyer's incentive that has never taken, despite numerous emails they are now dodging this issue as it's 'out of warranty'. Now having it replaced at our own cost, discovering it was laid on rubble with no topsoil used. They can't supply any report on their assesment, won't accept my issue is not a warranty but a fit for purpose issue and can't help me any further. We've had several landscapers suggest it was never for for purpose and it was overpriced in the incentive costing too.
The estate was completed nearly a year ago, yet roads haven't been surfaced, the park that was finished over a year after it was promised has also had grass taken up and replaced with sand. But suprise, we are still paying management fees which were calculated based on a finished estate.
Will avoid this company if we ever decide to move again.
