Dreadful. Purchased the 55” TV. Decent picture quality but not great, very good sound quality. That’s where the positives end. Atrocious in every other aspect. TV on a daily basis would freeze. Wouldn’t turn on, wouldn’t turn off. Apps would freeze. Remote would become unresponsive. Would have to turn the TV off at the wall everyday. Can’t cope with it anymore and it’s going back otherwise I will genuinely end up smashing it. Avoid it like the plague!! Skyglass has been rushed out far too quickly before the software has been sorted. Save yourself the hassle and raised blood pressure. Do not purchase!
I regret changing from sky q to sky…
I regret changing from sky q to sky glass for a few reasons, my puck keeps on dropping out even though it is connected via an Ethernet cable, you can’t record anything, the playlists are an ok system but not as good as recording programmes and finally the picture on the TV isn’t great. If I had a choice having now experienced sky glass I would have stuck with sky q and my old pioneer plasma Yc.
Top rate broadband + sky glass is a total joke
To be fair , I’ve plumbed for top grade broadband with Ethernet connection direct to my sky glass tv and it works for a couple of hours then drops out , worst decision I’ve made to go to sky glass

Picture quality is poor (the black colours are more like a very dark grey) and the fact you can’t record programmes and only have a playlist is a step back in terms of user interface.
Also, you can’t fast forward adverts like you can on a recorded sky Q programme is yet again, a step back.
Looks like greed has consumed sky as you need to pay to have the ability to skip adverts.
My Personal Experience
My Personal Experience - Every channel is two minutes behind. Had I been informed of this I would not have bought SKY Glass.
My 55" OFTEN does not respond to the remote and the TV has to be disconnected from the mains, then reconnected before the TV will turn on. The TV sometimes loses internet connection even though it is connected by cable to the router. Nothing else loses connection, only the TV.
The picture on my TV has colour banding. Gradients are blocky and pixelated, transitions are not smooth.
From my personal experience based on the SKY Glass TV I have, I would not recommend SKY Glass yet.

Turns off after an hour if you don’t pick up the remote, and you CANNOT TURN THIS OFF? What utter rubbish!!
If you record one episode it downloads the whole lot. Everything. I wanted one episode of Deadliest Catch and got 17 seasons! 25 episodes per season! Now I’ve got 450 episodes to trawl through to find the one I want!!
You have to pay £5 a month to skip the ads. That’s £60 per year! It’s free on Sky Q!

I have had a sky glass TV and 2 pucks for nearly a year and wish I hadn't bothered with the TV. Its easy to set up and has some great features such as the built in dolby surround sound but the fact that I have to reset the WiFi settings pretty much everytime I turn it on is starting to do my head in. We have 2 routers on different providers and we don't have a problem with the other tvs in the house just mine! Then there's the issue of not being able to use Bluetooth headphones with it meaning I can't watch TV at night as there are other people in the house who like to sleep at night.
All in all I really wish I hadn't bothered with sky glass and had bought a better brand smart TV.

Sky glass is a a great Tv and a rubbish product. Frequently it will not turn on so I have to fiddle and unplug it etc. YET the wretched thing will often just turn itself on during the day despite all activation settings being turned off. I have to ask a neighbour to come in when I’m away just in case it has turned itself on- madness! It will not record from ch4. When I check the playlist often the programmes from 4 are weeks if not months out of date. It frequently freezes mid programme and lips and speech are often out of sync. I’m absolutely fed up with it and after7 months seriously thinking of scrapping it.
Box office event
Payed for the Jake Paul v Tommy Fury fight at an extra £20 on top of the £91 I pay for Sky Glass and yet again sky glass cuts out on the last round. This has happened on the F1 all last season. Sky glass must be the worst product I have ever bought really nice TV with the worst service ever.

Please send a technician to house or a new tv that has been trialled and tested or explain what is going on.
Today the delivery company explained my tv was the 9th of 15 they were delivering and replacing today so there is clearly a major issue with these Glass TV’s .
If you check history on my account tonight’s call is probably my 50th and I have not got the time for trying to set up a TV. It’s not a rocket ship.
Please escalate this and come back to me with a resolution.
This is my first time signing up to Sky and to say it is the worst company I’ve dealt with is an understatement.

If I could have rated it 0 I would have, absolutely the worse tv set up I've had. It loses connection every single day, freezes, remote never seems to work. The recording option is the worse, you can't fast forward and actually see the programme you have to guess. Absolute rubbish nobody should change to this. Total rubbish
Sky glass is a retrograde step compared to Sky Q
Moving from Sky Q sky glass is a backwards step. After 2 months,
or nearer a month by time Sky sorted out our broadband, we have become utterly frustrated. The conspiracy theorists would say Sky stalled activating our broadband so we passed the cooling off period on the Sky Glass and couldn't send it back... You can pay extra to have some of the Sky Q functions back such as the ability to slip ads, However, you can't add a series link and record anything. You may add well have a terrestrial TV with a DVD player, something else that is missing. For the convenience of not having an eyesore of a fish I would recommend BT TV or Virgin TV.

TV was updated to OS 1.1 and build version 14 but after crashing and issues with sound it has reverted itself back to OS 1.0 and Build 13
These tvs are NOT cheap not worth the money don’t buy it
Can buy any tv on the market that is better quality and allows you to install your apps
Don't waste your money
Rubbish product. Not worth the money. Remote rarely works. Constantly have to unplug to reset. Cannot get it to pair with my phone. You cannot download apps they you want. You can only watch things by app, yet on certain apps you can only see what they suggest and not browse. When you add things to playlist, for example a film on 5☆, when you go to watch it, it only becomes available through an app that you have to subscribe too, such as Disney or Paramount.
Save your money, buy a decent TV and amazon fire stick!!!
