APPALLING!!
APPALLING!!! I fell over 2 weeks ago on a wet floor in my local Aldi (Romford) Essex injuring my lower back, ribs, wrist and thigh. Manager was kind enough to pay my shopping bill and also gave me Prosecco free of charge. 5 days later i had to go to hospital as immense pain from my ribs and lower back was preventing me from carrying on living a normal life. Im still taking 8 tablets a day as pain no better. I contacted Customer Services to ask for CCTV footage and they provided me with there Privacy Data Department who could oblige. Now here is why Aldi are getting a one star (Id give zero if possible.) I have spent almost 2 hours this evening on the website Aldi use re Data Privacy trying to answer there questions. 7 times Ive typed my accident details and 7 times half way through explaining - Ive been cut off!!! Ive run out of patience now and im angry. I feel like this is happening on purpose to put people off continuing with there complaint. Not sure what to do now but I wont be leaving it as they probably hope i will.
