Also that, although I appeared to have ignored your emails {I hadn't}, you kept sending them to me. It was that I didn't bother much with them whilst away, then on my return arrangements were made for delivery and item arrived when promised. All was well. Thank you.

This company is selling medication at a much more realistic price than others. Their advertising is good and clear. I submitted an order, paid for it and the next day received a friendly phone call from the pharmacist with some queries, was told the item would be despatched straight away and the next day it was with me much to my relief [both mentally and physically! :-)]. I will certainly deal with this company again when I need to purchase any more medication.

I liked the fact I could get the item I needed after much searching at my usual Spares companies. In desperation I emailed CDA who said they had it in stock.
However, actually trying to negotiate their website was a bit of an obstacle course. Things could have been a bit clearer and I seemed to go here, there and everywhere. Got there in the end but had to double and treble check that I had things correct before I dare press the 'next' buttons. Just awaiting delivery now

I emailed a request to Octopus and received a very uick response via telephone from an extremely helpful young man called Javed.
We discussed my queries and with no hesitstion whatsoever, he came up with the solution I was hoping for.
It was so simply done, no problems, no delays, just very friendly, helpful information and all done within about 10 minutes. I really like dealing with companies like this, but sad to say, there aren't many.
Let me tell you this. A little while ago when I was wanting to transfer my energy account to Octopus, I was ill, and because of the delay in my response, I said to them that was the reason. The next thing I knew I received a bouquet of flowers and a card attached wishing me well. Now how many companies does anyone know that would do that?
Yes, 1000% recommendation for Octopus, oh, and a good price as well!

That last time I was looking for item, I couldn't find what I needed and a couple of gentlemen of the staff were most helpful. Although my requirements were not exactly available, between all of us, we managed to find suitable alternatives. Thanks, guys!

Got the help I needed from Caleb

I used always to shop at Card Factory shops. However, having been shielded for such a long time, it became very difficult to get cards so I went online. This is the second time I have bought a number of cards like this. There is an amazing selection for practically every occasion and the personalised ones are gorgeous. They come together in a bigger envelope so we can write another little note inside. I love this service and the prices are so reasonable. Long may it last.
There was just a couple of snags along the way. First, want to change something and go back, you have to start the whole thing all over. Second, when searching for things the pages keep flipping over the one you are working on which is rather irritating.
Apart from those two points I'd say 4.8 out of 5.
Notwithstanding that, I love the cards and will keep buying them like this. I've now got all my cards ready until the end of the year so the next ones to be ordered will be for Christmas.

This car has been cared for by Evans Halshaw [from whom it was purchased] for the past 9 years. Their service has always been great, friendly and efficient. Any required work has been notified to us before carrying it out, prices most reasonable. I need to take advantage of the collect and return service and, apart from the lock downs, have never been let down. In fact, if/when I change this car, which I am loath to do, I'd probably buy one from Evans Halshaw again purely on the basis of the way we have been looked after with this one.
That's a 5*+++ recommendation

Online chat with Cheryl resolved my problem of having had my Nectar Card blocked in connection with Sainsburys. Once I followed the instructions, all was well. It wasn't anything serious but enough to stop my use of the card. Now it's operational again. Sorted out calmly without it being a crisis

Within about 15 minutes, at most, of making the call of being unable to start the engine outside the York Hospital, he mechanic arrived. He got the engine going with leads and then proceeded to give the other components a good check over, being unwilling to let me drive away in case there was an underlying fault. There was. He let me drive home and followed me there then started to do more checks. When he identified it, he took my car to the dealership garage, saying if it stopped on the way there, he would know what to do. A colleague of his was near the garage and picked him up and brought him back to or home to collect his van. All this on a bitterly cold and rainy day. I would say this was definitely over and above and am so grateful for the service. Thank you, Tristram.
Five Stars? I say, Double it.

The curtain is just as I expected, lovely fabric and bright white and hangs beautifully. Only con is that the sides are not hemmed [which I did know when purchasing] so hanging had to wait until I got round to edging it myself. My window now looks nice and bright again, instead of slightly grey. Very happy with it.

I bought two king size mattress protectors with the 16" skirt, great for tucking in. The items themselves are thinner than I had thought, and hoped, they would be but they are cotton, which is a plus. The skirt part is really thin - you can actually see through it. At £15.78 each, they are not expensive. I have paid double that for one before now. We just have to wait and see if this lasts a few years. We do always have two per bed for washing. They are only needed as a mattress cover and no other reason. They arrived very quickly after ordering, thank you very much and provided they wear well, I'll be back to replace our others in a short while.

I went to update our bedding. Unfortunately they have stopped doing the range I always used to buy. That was the Hotel range. I had bought a number of the Egyptian cotton sheets in the past and wanted more, not available any more. Same thing with the mattress protectors - not available.
I did, however get the new duvet covers and pillowcovers I needed. Generally it was good but very disappointing that the really good quality sheets etc are no longer available.
No good having different ranges if the quality isn't there.
But, all the same, I do like Dunelm and the staff are always helpful and friendly

We bought our car 6 years ago from Evans Halshaw, Clifton Moor, York. Car at that time was 2 years old. All services, health checks, MoTs, new tyres and the occasional repair have been carried out by them. Our car is collected from our home on the morning of any appointment and returned later in the day in a lovely clean condition. If any work needs doing, we are contacted and told exactly what has to be done and the cost of such work. The staff we have dealt with are so helpful, friendly and efficient. Should we ever have the need to change our car, we would go here again, although I must admit, I would be loathe to change from this lovely Vauxhall Meriva.

I rate Evans Halshaw five stars. I have had nothing but help, advice, information and good service from the day I went to look for a vehicle. The staff are very friendly and efficient. When I have been given a time for when the car would be ready when it needed any works and/or service done, it has always been ready by that time and often sooner.
I would have no hesitation in recommending anyone to go here.
