Awful company, terrible customer care!

Awful company. After weeks, they still haven't posted the items. I contacted the customer care, which told me that one of the items is not available, and they are waiting for it to be available before sending the whole order. So literally, it could take months; they had no idea when the parcel would be dispatched. So I cancelled it. I will not use them again.

They deserve a big zero

Only if I could give a zero! Pathetic company. Their customer care doesn't exist. We published a picture book with them but the quality was awful. So we unpublished it and published it via another company. When we tried to add the item through our Amazon seller account, they wouldn't allow us because they insisted that we ask them to remove the book. So I checked it and they placed the book on hold. We asked them to remove the hold, they said it can't be done and I should re-publish the book with a new ISBN. They can't even seem to understand the question, let alone come up with a solution. Please avoid them.

Optima was appointed by our bank to manage our remortgage application. They have been very professional- even when I was a bit moody at times, very efficient and helpful. They took time to explain everything at each step and every single person I spoke was very polite. I would definitely recommend them.

Arrogant and non-efficient customer care

Pathetic company - we placed an order a while ago which we received. Then we were supposed to have the next one posted tomorrow as part of the bottomless order, only today they decided to tell us that it wasn't in stock. The system of informing us was awful. Instead of receiving an email stating that the item was out of order, we received an email - which said a support case was opened for us. I rang them, yes the lady was helpful in terms of looking to find out what happened, but I would say she is not efficient and definitely arrogant. No proper apology or anything. I don't think they need customers.

Excellent service, fab crew!

They informed us not only about the delivery slot in advance, but the delivery team also rang us 5 minutes before to just let us know that they would be there. The crew were fab. My husband has a knee problem, so they offered to take the TV upstairs which they don't have to. They were lovely. Nice people. Thank you.

Easy to order, good price, fast delivery, fab jumpers and cardigans...

I only ordered on the 26th December and already received my items. I ordered 2 jumpers, 1 knitted waistcoat and a cardigan. They all are so beautiful and packed very well. I normally shop from their shops when I am on holiday but this time I used the online shop. Easy to order, good price and fast delivery. A very happy customer.

Terrible company, avoid using them!

I have been using Ocado for a while now. Recently deliveries always have been late. Today after 2 hours, I chased them via phone as no one bothered to contact me. They had no clue. Then I saw the van outside, the driver was just sitting in the van. He rang me and told me that his van temperature is low and that he doesn't know what to do. Then Ocado customer care agent rang me and told me that I can have some of my items. So my husband had to rush to local supermarket to do our weekly shopping. He has mobility issues, so this was very challenging, as one of us had to stay and look after the dog. Plus, I don't drive so I couldn't carry the weekly shopping.

This company is really useless. Shopping arrives late or cancelled. Drivers always forget to refund for the bags so I have to constantly email for it. Shopping arrives with leaked softeners over food etc... Too much stress. The whole point of shopping online is to have a relaxing experience rather than running around in the shop. But with Ocado you get double dose of stress.

The person who talked to me on the phone was also arrogant and patronising. Their argument was - football in Wembley so they were stuck in traffic. But we are not on that route. You can come to us using many different routes.

In the end, I closed my account. No more stress of Ocado. I wouldn't advise anyone to use this company. I hope M & S stops their collaboration with them too.

Quality products, excellent customer care

I always used Carpet Right when I needed to have new carpet for our home. This time also I phoned the customer helpline to discuss how much carpet would I need as I am having a loft conversion. I was very lucky to get through to Pamela Elsdon. She went over and above to help me. She booked free estimation visit, then spent time to help me to choose correct carpet as I have a little rottie girl. She was just amazing, made this process so efficient and fun. I literally felt as I was having a chat with a friend. She was very professional and knowledgeable. A very happy customer.

Terrible customer service, rude and arrogant staff!

I have a MacbookPro 2018 - the one that have keyboard issues. During Covid the MacBook screen had issues. I couldn’t get an appointment from Apple so I had to use our local tech repair company. Then the keyboard had issues which is under apple guarantee. I booked an appointment with Apple Brent Cross, they were brilliant. Dealt with it directly. After 6 months the screen and keyboard had issues. So I booked an appointment with Apple Regents Street. The customer adviser was so rude, arrogant and weird, I don’t know what to say. His first reaction after looking at my laptop was- “ This is liquid damage”. I told him that wasn’t the case but he was just arguing in a very ill manner. I teach computing so I will know if my laptop had liquid damage or not. He told me the screen replacement would cost around £500-600. Then he took the laptop and went somewhere for 10 minutes or so. He came back and told me that they won’t replace the keyboard that is under guarantee until I have the screen replaced. His attitude was awful, he was passive aggressive, argumentative and had no listening skills. He suggested I should get a new MacBook as the cost of repair would be too high. He was unbelievably rude. The way he talked down at me made me think whether he had some racial issues. I am still in shock… I won’t buy a new MacBook, they seem to have screen issues very often.

Terrible company, no respect for customers!

I have booked an eye test with them (London North Finchley), all went smoothly. I left my glasses as it needed new lenses. When I went to collect them about 2 weeks later, which was the hottest day, I was told that the person who supposed to glaze them was unwell, so they are not ready. They did not even bother to contact me to explain the situation. In that weather, I travelled for nothing. I will not use them again. I should have known this would happen because when I went for my eye test, many people came to collect their glasses and they were told that they were not ready. So treating customers in this way is common for this company.

Update: They told me they would ring me on Monday to book a new appointment so that I could collect my glasses. Today is Wednesday, no one bother to ring me. I sent them a message via email and Twitter. Again, no one replied. I don't know what to do, maybe legal action as they have my glasses, they charged me for it but not returning to me.
