What exactly are we reviewing?

Very happy with the fixed price deal for gas: best on the market. But when I 'chatted' with Pooja to ask if it was possible to keep the same tariff, but pay each month for what we actually consume (as was my arrangement at EDF), we had a long, dispiriting and utterly fruitless dialogue in which he/she could not even understand my query. I eventually gave up.

Quick and easy

Quick and easy.
I bought two LED bulbs to match some I bought five years ago, and found some from the same manufacturer, of the same shape, same wattage and same colour intensity. Only when they arrived did I find that they were distinctly smaller than the five year old models. That's progress for you. I suppose that if I'd taken an old bulb to B+Q I might have noticed in advance.

A question of timing.

I ordered the doors online, the system telling me I would receive them in 5 to 7 days. The next morning a nice young lady rang to say that they were out of stock, and would be two weeks; was that OK? I said yes. Two days later, they were delivered. They are still in the garage, unexamined.
