BLC mediocre, Madison was exceptional

Like most people based companies the service you get depends on the people that help you.
Blue light needs to seriously think about the renewal process for cards that are expiring, that should happen automatically. For this element I give blue light two out of five and that's generous.
To speed things up my paid the fee and expected to card to arrive and it didn't for that I give blue light one.
However when I've replied to blue light telling them my car did not arrived I had exceptional service from Madison and for that I've given it a five. Overall it's a three and a half rounded up to four the company clearly need to up the game in some areas but they also need to mention that they're staff are recognized.

Excellent if you have an area that is perfectly square or rectangular

The click deck product is excellent and it looks like it will stand up to many years of use.
Delivery was accident the price of highly competitive and the finished product looks great.
The only issue we had is there was a little bit of filling required which was could not be managed by cutting down a slat to size so we had to source a rubber filler to complete the job.

Faceless company

We were in when the item was delivered but driver did not knock on the door. We happened to read the email announcing the delivery and retrieved the item from our porch. Item condition was fine and delivery was a day earlier. Seems these modern delivery firms avoid any human interaction so you can't thank the driver and item may be left outside even if you are in. Faceless.

Decent experience, quality products

Our order was for two composite external doors, one to have a cat flap fitted, a new set of french doors and a door changed into a window. Impressed by the site visit to measure and quote. Lead time longer than we hoped but quality worth the wait. On the day of fitting no-one showed up so we chased early morning and got response that the french doors were damaged. They did arrive later that day to fit the new front and back doors. Returned a few weeks later to do the other job and also sorted a snag we had with one of the composite doors. The fitters did a great job, particularly bricking up part of an old door to form new window opening . Earlier communication by phone not email would have given a 5 star review. 12 months since fitting and we are very happy apart from some trim on architrave coming loose but a bit of adhesive will fix this.

No idea about how good the item is until installed but so far the experience has been first class.

First class service everytime

First class service everytime. I've used them for several years and by far and away the best banking experience I've had. It would be nice to have a loyalty bonus or be able to put a lot more in the regular saver account....but I doubt the grass is greener elsewhere.

Dog owner improvement

The website is a little more user friendly for dog owners but still could be better. Also no discount for booking a return trip on same or different route. Club voyage costs can be recouped on a single trip but took a fair bit of playing around on booking to work this out. Phone service better for dog owners looking to book a crossing.

All of our sailings are priced as single leg fares meaning that it is not cheaper to book a return unless it is a promotional ticket like a 24 hour return.

Club Voyage is great if you are a frequent traveler.

Please make the website more user friendly for dog owners

The website is hard to navigate if booking with a dog. Availability of dog kennels/cabins for Spain is not easy to view particularly if you are not fussed about where the ferry is from and dates flexible. You have to search each route and each date. Suggest make this more user friendly. Also for people wanting to go for longer periods in winter it is not possible to book a return ferry for departures in late October as the next years sailings are not bookable.

I appreciate the difficulties in finding a pet friendly cabin and your feedback has been noted.

Passengers wanting to travel on dates that are not yet currently available can make a one-way booking for now. When the new timetables are released they will be able to add on a return sailing to their booking (this does not affect the price).

Parcel left on doorstep

Parcel left on doorstep, driver did not knock (our dog always barks when someone knocks) and there were 5 adults in the house at time of delivery. No card was left either to indicate delivery. Found item when went to bring the milk in.
Yodel drivers never seem to knock, just dump and run.

Home delivery not for me

Accidently used postal rather than the click and collect service. Big error. Unable to swap until order processed. Order arrived after I'd ran out of medication 8 days later. Had to ring GP for emergency supply to tide me over. Never again. App chat really poor. Took over 5 hours to respond to my query.

The Click and Collect option is only available for two hours from when you receive the confirmation email and if you select this within this timeslot then your prescription will be sent to a Well Pharmacy of your choice (England only). If you do not select the Click and Collect option within two hours, your prescription will be posted out to your delivery address as normal. Why don't your drivers knock?

During lockdown we have had numerous deliveries from a number of companies. It appears only Hermes drivers cannot be bothered to knock or ring the bell. They do however find the time to take a photo of the parcel at our front door. Most of the time someone is in in and therefore it would be nice to know a parcel has been delivered rather than notice an email hours and later have to go and retrieve it before some passerby decides to pinch it

Easy peasy highly recommended

Website easy to navigate, statements very clear, responsive to changing direct debits when in credit or arrears and simple to submit meter readings. Best of all still cheapest tariff on comparison sites so might buck the trend in valuing customer loyalty.....let's hope so but I plan to check to keep them on their toes

Poor experience item still not appeared.

Ordered 3 grips on 13th May with a promise of 2-3 day delivery. 13 days later still no sign of them. I'd already taken the old grips off my wedges and so now lockdown lifted not been able to use 3 clubs. I hope they improve their courier options.
