Avoid at all cost.
Our experience with Kitchen Love has been nothing short of disastrous, directly due to the deceitful and unprofessional behaviour of Sales Manager Graham Griffiths. Graham runs the company, despite his son being listed as its director. Graham has had plenty of previous failures in business which we were completely unaware of until we discovered while desperately trying to chase our kitchen.
We placed our trust in Kitchen Love to deliver a high-quality Schüller kitchen but it has been delay after delay, excuse after excuse, and a series of blatant lies. First, Graham falsely claimed that the Schüller factory in Germany was closed for an extended period, beyond the scheduled August closure. With some effort (we contacted Schuller in Germany) we found out this was completely untrue—the delay was entirely due to Graham mishandling our order. We had to ask another company who have a 20 year relationship with Schuller to step in and help us.
Finally, after months of frustration and worry that we had lost our money, we finally received our kitchen and sink. The sink was incorrect and completely broken. Then we received an “upgraded” dishwasher by Graham himself, again the wrong size for our units. On top of that, we were delivered cheaper models of the fridge freezer and oven. The only appliances delivered correctly were the washing machine and the hob.
The amount of times we called, texted and tried to contact Graham to fix his appalling service was incredible and a complete waste of time.
Graham repeatedly promising to swap out the “mistakenly” delivered items or provide a new set, this has not happened.
We had already paid for all these integrated items but due to the complete mess we had received and the fact that kitchen fitters were waiting on their installation, we had to purchase the correct appliances in order to proceed further.
I am now considerably out of pocket as a result of having to buy the proper equipment myself.
Graham Griffiths’ consistent dishonesty has caused us immense stress and ruined what should have been an exciting investment in our home. Beyond our own experience, we now know of many other customers suffering the same issues coupled with threats from Graham. It’s clear ours is not an isolated incident but a recurring problem of unprofessional, unacceptable service. Not only are we having to try and retrieve funds through our bank but we are compiling information for a criminal case.
I strongly caution anyone considering Kitchen Love not to. Graham Griffiths has proven to be a liar, delivering substandard service and cutting corners at every opportunity. I wanted to share our experience to ensure others are aware of the unethical and fraudulent behaviour we have had to endure.
