Almost Brilliant
Really pleased with the quality, healthy, well-packed plants that arrived in great condition. A nice touch was a free gift included in the box, though it wasn’t mentioned in the packing slip so I did wonder at first if it was meant to be there!
The only slight challenge was that the freebie turned out to be a 5m hardy climber, which is a challenge to find an home for!, but appreciated all the same.
One thing to note: I didn’t receive a dispatch notice, which would’ve been useful for tracking. Also, the flat delivery fee is quite high if you’re just ordering one plant. It’s good value if you’re buying several, but might put me off placing smaller orders in future, which is a shame as the plants themselves were excellent.
Overall, a really good experience with great plants, just a couple of tweaks to the service would make it perfect.

Beware Black Friday Deals
Tried to order a Paddle Mixer with free gift, said it could not be processed with the selected quantity (one!!) tried on phone and on different computer.
No email notifications, nothing on PayPal but 5 debits/credits on my card, and card company has moved the money as unavailable...
Firstly don't say items are in stock then change your mind at order stage
Secondly don't charge my account for items you don't have
Thirdly don't then send zero notification that you have charged my card, nothing showing on PayPal but debits showing on my account...guessing will have to wait for refunds to land before money is available again???
Edit: I did not get an order number as it did not go through, I got no notification at all but it did pre auth my card. As I tried a couple of times each on phone and computer my card was holding £1000 until it sorted it set 3 days later!

I placed an order at Gardeners' World Live on Saturday, June 15th, and was told it would be delivered in a couple of weeks. Since then, the experience has been nothing short of a nightmare.
- ** Thursday June 27th** order arrived missing two of three items
- **Thursday, June 27th:** I called and was assured the rest of my order would arrive by Tuesday, July 2nd.
- **Friday, July 5th:** still nothing so o Called again and I was told the new delivery date was Tuesday,
- **Wednesday, July 10th:** still nothing despite the owner Mike promising to sort personally Despite further promises from their team and personally from Mike, nothing has shown up.
If the owner cannot sort what hope is there for the customer service team?
I think I have now been promised my items will be delivered ‘in the next couple of days’ 5 times over the last 3 weeks with nothing to show!!
This company has been completely unreliable and dishonest throughout the entire process. I strongly advise against using their services. Save yourself the hassle and frustration!

I've always regarded Fiskars as a quality company..until today!
Sent an email to ask where to buy replacement blades as there don't seem to be any on the usual large shopping sites.
Got a holding email saying current response time is 15 working days, well given there is 5 working days in a week, that's 3 weeks!
If its taking you three weeks to reply to a simple customer enquiry you need to hire more staff!!!

Sent a lens in for a trade in, which has been used twice, they claimed was very dusty??!!??
They were still happy to buy of course but wanted to pay significantly less!!
I asked for the lens to be returned they promised to return the item in 24 hours, over a week later and numerous emails later I'm still waiting, the latest excuse seems to be they forgot to post it!!
2 days of work wasted so far and a week over the promised return date...
...LOOK ELSEWHERE FOR A HASSLE FREE TRADE INS!!!

Purchased and paid for a Stihl Hedgecutter after a few days I still had not heard anything about about delivery, rang to chase, to be told the item was OUT OF STOCK!
It might not have been so bad if they had let me know the following day, but I was told they only do a stock check once a week!
They told me it 'might' be delivered in a month or so!
I did suggest perhaps they ought not to display items and take money for items if they are not in stock!
Still waiting for the refund to applied!
AVOID IF UNLESS YOU WANT TO TAKE A GAMBLE ON HAVING YOUR ORDER FULFILLED!

I should have known there would be a problem when the returns section of the website wouldn’t load…I received an email from them saying this was still under development and to return the item.
Low and behold they could not issue a refund as apparently the only person who could do it was ‘unexpectedly’ not there…and they could not issue by another method!

Just tried to spend nearly £1800 on a coffee machine and its turned into an incredibly frustrating experience.
Order was processed as normal, then an hour later I received an email saying there was a problem with my order and to call them.
I dutifully called them and they said the my bank had stopped the card possibly as a fraud prevention measure.
I then tied to put in a complaint with my card holder where it transpired the issue was not with them and in fact the payment had been taken and then later reversed by sage/Breville
On calling back the lady I spoke to agreed they'd done this but didn't know why that she'd have to ask and call me back tomorrow!
I was also told I couldn't make the payment over the phone, despite their email saying if i want to place an order to 'reach out to them' to place a new order.
All I wanted to do is buy one of their products!!!
EDIT, thank you for the reply. My bank say this payment was approved and then later reversed by you and that they definitely did not decline the payment. The lady I spoke to on the phone a few moments ago said this was due to an internal process by you....please could you get your stories straight!?!
EDIT EDIT...Now been told to wait a week for the payment link?!? RIDICULOUS

Beware! Ordered two items and paid.
I then received an email saying neither were in stock, still waiting for the refund to be processed.
The email provided to PayPal doesn't work...it gives this error message
"Your message wasn't delivered to because the address couldn't be found, or is unable to receive mail."
In summary taken my money for goods they never had and now looking like a right load of hassle to get a refund.

In response to the reply from Yandles, firstly thank you for the refund which I have now received. However it would have been much better if this had been done as a matter of course rather than as a result of leaving this review.
Your reply does contain a number of inconsistencies in which I hope you note.
I was not offered an alternative as you state I was told “Please advise if there is a suitable alternative we can offer”
To which I reasonably replied could you let me know if you have anything similar or else give a refund. I received no response to this. Hence leaving the negative review.
This is not referenced in your reply?
Most of the negative reviews on trust pilot relate to you not having the items in stock and taking customers money.
I would respectfully suggest you listen to your customers and address this issue.
In this event you took money for two items that not only were not in stock they were discontinued.
To me it seems simple, if you haven’t got it, you can’t sell it!

Ordered a TV stand which came well packaged but unfortunately with the glass shelf broken.
They arranged for a new unit to be delivered very quickly and the courier took the old one away at the same time.

BEWARE USING NAMED DAY DELIVERY
I placed quite a large order and as I didn't want this left outside I used paid extra for the named day delivery to ensure I would be in when the items arrived.
This was about a week later than I would have expected using the normal service.
They then sold the items I had paid for and rang up the day before explaining they were no out of stock.
The promised immediate refund has yet to happen. Disappointing!!
