Melia Costa Del Sol Hotel

The room we were given by the Melia Costa Del Sol hotel was overlooking solar panels, an 8 storey apartment block and a cliff face. When we checked in the receptionist said”we have a Special Surprise room for you” it certainly was a “special surprise”
My wife said “ they’ve put us out the way”
We’ve been to this hotel 8 times and this is the third time this year, we certainly won’t be going back for a ninth time.

SD Card order…

I ordered an SD card on Wednesday 27th December 2023, the card was delivered on Thursday 4th January 2024. Not counting weekends and bank holiday, 6 days later for a letter package.
I had to call Nextbase on Wednesday 3rd January to find out when my SD card would be delivered as I was not informed that the item had been despatched contrary to the order stating that I would be informed by email when despatched
Would not recommend your delivery service.

We were made aware of delays with Royal Mail over the Christmas Period. I am very sorry that this did not reach you as soon as we would have liked.

I sent 21 stamps to swap out

I sent 21 stamps to swap out, had a reply 4 weeks later saying “please find enclosed 21 first class bar coded stamps” NO STAMPS WERE INCLUDED. Tried to telephone swap out number at 08-30 their opening time, waited 30 minutes no reply.

Will Never Use Again

I had to cancel our holiday 13 days before travel (10th September) as both my wife and i were confirmed with Coronavirus 19, NHS told us Isolate for 10 days and do not take another PCR TEST for 90 Days. Advised Randox on 10th September that we need to cancel our Day2 Test appointment on 01/10/2021, they asked for booking refernce etc which i gave to them, on 14th September Anna emailed me and asked for our full order number and location which i emailed all details as requested back by return, i have not received any reply or refund since that date, they seem to like to take money but not give it back,

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COST

My wife and i booked a holiday with Jet2 in March 2021 and included Rock Insurance as they said it covers Coronavirus up to return journey. Our departure was for September 23rd, unfortunately on 10th September we were Confirmed as having Coronavirus and had to isolate for 10 days, We cancelled our holiday with Jet2 who advised we would not get our money back as it was too short notice but we could claim from Rock insurance. i have tried telephoning the claim line and Customer services and each time i got to the claim section my phone was cut off. I tried to claim on line but they insist on a GP Certificate of unfit to fly, The NHS advised us not to contact the GP and that we could not have another PCR Test for 90 Days so had we have gone on holiday we could not have had our Day 2 PCR Test. I suggest anyone wanting travel insurance"Look Elsewhere" no ROCK INSURANCE.

Highly Recommended will use again

My wife and i had our Lateral Flow test for return to the U.K. by Breathe Assured and the consultant was Kamantha, whom we cannot praise enough, we would give her 11 out of 10 for making us feel at ease and the test was very easy. Kamantha made us feel like we were one of her family the certifiaction was sent through within a minute of completing the test. we are going overses again in a month's time and will certainly be using Breathe Assured.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

Rubbish company, been trying to cancel our holiday by telephone for 2 weeks as my daughter and her husband are key workers and the answer machine says cannot take your call, have tried 5 different numbers all with the same answer, got through twice to a call centre in India, was given new uk numbers, same answering machine, tried to send an email from their cancellation website, reply came back "we are unable to make changes or cancel your booking by email" will think again before booking via BA.

Not Good Service

my wife and I are in our 70's we purchased 3 jigsaws from one of The Works Outlets in Leicester. 2 of the jigsaws had pieces missing (boxes were sealed and jigsaw pieces were in a sealed polythene bag) sent complaint to The Works customer service, had an email back with a complaint number & said they would reply within 5 days, I then had the following email from them:-
Dear ,

Thank you for your email.

Please accept our apologies that your puzzle had pieces missing. We have now passed this issue on to our supplier and they are currently investigating this batch of puzzles. We do not have the facility to send out any missing pieces.

If you return the product to the store from which it was purchased we can offer you an exchange if we have the stock available or alternatively a full refund can be issued.

Travelling and time to return the jigsaws would be more costly than their value so I will not buy anything again from the works
