Cashconverters sells "lost or stolen"…

Cashconverters sells "lost or stolen" devices. I think that's all you need to know. Over the years, I have bought various items from them and until now, I never had an issue. However, this week, I bought a kindle device, which would not activate. Upon contacting amazon and providing them the device serial and details, I was told it is marked as "lost or stolen" and can not be activated. My assumption was that cashconverters would identify sellers and check products prior to purchasing them, but I guess they don't. From now, I will obviously never buy anything from them again as I do not wish to support these practices. Please avoid doing business with them too.

Utterly useless and riddled with…

Utterly useless and riddled with restrictions that make normal use impossible. First off, almost no one will sell anything to new members, which means you basically get to browse and never get to complete a transaction. I purchased something on an offer, which was accepted by a seller. Once I paid, I got a message the purchase had been rejected. Upon asking the seller he informed me that he would not sell to new members without at least 10 reviews. Next, I check with Wallapop, who "kindly" inform me my money will be refunded within 10 working days. Fantastic. Other sellers will simply block or reject anything from new members. While browsing, Wallapop pops up messages to ask whether you use the platform for personal or professional purposes, even when you indicate it's a personal account. Next they block you from sending more than 2 or 3 messages to sellers on any given day because you are "sending too many messages". Buy it now transactions bounce with an error message and no further explanation. So yeah, browse if you feel like wasting your time, but do NOT expect to ever buy anything. Oh, in case you do, they offer reasonable shipping rates, but whack on another 5% or so in "Wallapop guarantee" fee. Whatever, it adds up to being just about as expensive as other platforms, without their usability.

Decent prices, lack of service and communication.

Well, no surprises once you take time to read the other reviews. Perhaps their in-store service is fine, but I would recommend skipping their webshop unless you are very patient. They are not THAT much cheaper than the competition and as per the flurry of 1 star reviews, they have a shipping policy that leaves a lot to be desired. The same goes for the unresponsive customer service department.

Once you order and pay, your money is gone. There are no refunds for late deliveries, endless delays, etc. Neither is there any customer service to speak of. There's an automated chatbot on the site that just redirects you to a non-functional tracking link or your account details, a customer services email that they do not seem to feel the need to ever check (or at the very least they do not reply to questions) and a phone service that gets you a rude person who will "open a case", but be entirely useless when it comes to resolving an issue.
Expected delivery times on the website are a hit and miss. They will send an email that your product has shipped on the last day of the window (in this case 3-5 days), but that's it. The tracking number is not in the system of the delivery company. When asked, they will tell you that it is either a wrong number or that it has been created by the sender, but that they have not yet notified the delivery company and that the package has certainly not been received by them as this would activate tracking or result in them sending tracking details. In some instances, this seems to mean the seller's message that the package has now "left their warehouse" is a simple lie. In others, your package will suddenly arrive with another delivery company without prior notification.

So yes, I get it, by all means, offer appealing prices to lure people in. If this requires dropshipping or ordering in from manufacturers, that is fine too. However, if this is what the policy is, just provide people with a 3-4 week shipping window and a fairly high probability of non-availability, with an automated refund after say 2 weeks delay beyond the indicated shipping times. Advertising with 3-5 day delivery windows and taking much longer without any sign of life, no customer support and a dead tracking number is not the way to go.

All said and done, if you want a decent price or find something on blow-out special, it may be worth buying here. However, do not expect any sort of customer service and be ok with waiting for your package beyond the indicated date. If you appreciate any level of service and compliance with delivery dates, just buy elsewhere.

Another gang of fraudsters

Another gang of fraudsters. I am honestly not sure why there are any decent ratings on these clowns. My last parcel was delivered with nearly two months of delay after about 20 supposed "attempts". Now I have another parcel that is supposed to be delivered and I'm on the third delivery attempt. The only issue here is that no one ever attempted to deliver anything. It would be interesting if the company could check the GPS location of the application (yes, all couriers now geolocate where parcels are marked as delivered, etc to avoid disputes). The last bloke they checked repeatedly marked my parcel as "undeliverable" at 130m distance from his own house. If you want to be a fraud in this way, at least drive to a bar and grab a few beers and do it there. Long story short, this is another scam company you should avoid at all costs. It's becoming a bit of a chore doing these reviews, it would be nice to have something positive to say instead of constantly dealing with people who have no moral compass or sense of duty. Alas.

Amables y buenos precios.

No estoy seguro porque hay tantas reseñas negativas por Alimerka. Claro, no es el Corte Inglés, ni otro sitio de lujo. Eso dicho, tienen buenos precios y a mi siempre me han tratado bastante amable, tanto en la pescadería como en otras partes de la tienda. Los mariscos bien (solo los viernes - sábados) y los demas productos en general a buen precio.

Do NOT waste your time with Nothing…

Do NOT waste your time with Nothing customer service. Sure, they put out decent products at decent prices, but consider them single use items that you chuck out once anything goes wrong. Contact customer support and they will not know a thing. Mention a summer sale and they ask you for print screens of their own website to inform another department about it. Next they can not answer any questions and promise to get back to you. This results in an email that they have your outstanding question or issue, followed by another email after a few days to inform you things are taking longer than anticipated. In the meantime, the sale item you asked about is no longer on sale. This is not relevant either way, because they simply never show any sign of life after the message that your question is taking longer to reply to than anticipated. Of course a basic question about some of the basic specs (such as colour, availability, etc) are rather challenging, so I get how they would need some additional time to reply. Whatever. Anyway, I'm glad I went through this prior to owning any of their products, it has helped me having to deal with them in the future. I highly recommend any phone from pretty much any brand that cares about customer satisfaction.

Corrupt, dishonest, AVOID!

Update July 1, 2025. Last week a fourth parcel was accepted by ecoscooting for local delivery. Similar to the previous three packages, they have so far not attempted to deliver. Another package stolen by these corrupt people, starting a refund process with the seller. While there is no point updating the review, it provides written proof for legal proceedings against ecoscooting.

Original review:
If possible, I would have given them 0 stars and I am currently in touch with my lawyer to explore options to file a class action suit against these thieves. The long and short of it it is that somehow, I was unlucky enough to have three parcels enter the country with ecoscooting as the local courier for delivery. When the first package got stuck in "received by local carrier" for a few weeks, I did not think much of it. I filed a claim, they called twice, nothing was resolved, the parcel is still missing. Two weeks later another package went into their network and the exact same thing happened. Another week later another delivery into their network and surprise, the same yet again. Upon chasing customer service, they can only tell me they have no clue where the parcels are. So, being rather practical, I suggested that they could give me he address of the regional hub so I could contact them directly or drive by. Well, here's a surprise. Head office has no idea where the local hub is... So I ask again whether they can please provide a local address, but they tell me that they asked the local hub, but they are not replying. So they offer to provide a letter that all packages are lost, which they say I can use to claim my money back with the sellers. After over a month of nothing and not a single delivery attempt, I get a message that after multiple failed attempts, the packages will now be returned to the sellers. This is literally after I spoke to them yesterday and they told me they could not locate the packages but would ensure prompt delivery (ok, it was the 5th time they said that, so I did not expect much). All up, they are a corrupt gang of thieves with 0 ethics and I doubt they do anything but just scan packages once they enter and either just abandon them or take what they like to resell or give to the family for Christmas. Head office is no better, claiming they have no way of locating the packages and saying they have no idea what the address of the local hub is because "they do not reply"... Will meet my lawyer again next week and will also file formal complaints with the consumer board and local police office. These people belong behind bars or at the very least out of business.

Incomplete information, terrible website, ok for the price.

In and off itself, the service is ok. That said, it has become impossible to log in as they wait so long with sending out the required verification code that the session times out prior to it getting to your mailbox.

There is also an issue with the chat, which takes a minute to "load your data" after which it pops a message that something is wrong, telling you to reload the page.

Finally, there is a lot of information missing from the website. Case in point example, SSL costs. All that is mentioned is that a one year SSL is included with your hosting or other service, however, there is no information about whether it will renew to be free for another year if you renew your plan or if there is an additional charge after year one. There is no information anywhere on the website when it comes to SSL pricing and other crucial services. In all, I would recommend paying a little more and going with a service that offers clarity in their pricing structure so there's no surprises down the road.

Anyway, for the time being the service is ok for the price, I just hope they do not intend to either drop the service level further or increase prices.

La bebida mas o menos bien, lo demas nada.

La bebida mas o menos bien, servicio al cliente y sitio web un desastre. Al pedir, todo ok pero luego nada. Al no recibir confirmacion del pedido puedes intentar hablar con ellos pero nada. Luego descubres que han utilizado el correo electronico para mandar communicacion del pedido. Al intentar rastrear el pedido puedes hacer lo que te da la gana pero no vas a conseguir nada. Al cargar la pagina con el supuestamente estado del pedido te redirige al "home" donde te piden otra vez poner datos del pedido. Al meterlos y seguir, lo mismo. Servicio al cliente, como antes, ausente. Si de verdad quieres este bebida, compralo en tienda y olvidate del sitio web. Mejor todavia, cambiar de marca o hacerlo en casa.

Buen cafe

Buen cafe, envio rapido. No hay mucho mas que decir. Muy barrato no son, pero es un producto de alta calidad, asi merece la pena.

Edit 2025: Bajado a 2 estrellas. Motivos: 1. muchos cafes son mas o menos regular, 2. precios han subido mucho, 3. quizas lo que mas molesta... El SPAM. Mandan correos electronicas con historias y tonterias irrelevantes casi todos los días. Es una molestia. Tanto que ya he cambiado a otra empresa para mis compras.

Ahora en mediados de 2025 recomiendo comprar en otras empresas. Calidad de producto mediocre a precio muy elevado, acompañada de SPAM casi cada día.

Not a single attempt to deliver.

Similar to some other delivery companies... They indicate an attempt has been made to deliver the package. In reality, they never tried, did not come the house, never called or even as much as attempted to deliver anything. This will happen another two or three times, after which the parcel will go back to the seller. These people should be out of business and in jail. I have zero tolerance for the endless corruption and lack of ethics of these scammers.

Update 21/10: So, to date, the package remains in their "distribution centre". Not a single attempt has been made to deliver and their "customer service chat" is just a bot that does not allow you to talk to an actual person. They do not answer the phone either. Responses to emails are standardised replies saying they noticed a delay in the delivery and they will attempt to deliver as soon as possible. No answer to questions where this "distribution centre" is, when they expect to deliver or whether they can not just leave it at a parcel point. My guess is that paack is the new name of what used to be zeleris, ontime or one of the other companies that has similar ways of grabbing some money before changing their name once authorities threaten to investigate due to the numbers of complaints being lodged. Well, the day Paack seizes operations and all involved are sent to jail can not come soon enough. What a farce!

Ni mal, ni bien. Nunca llego a comprar el producto por el simple hecho que no querían decirme cual sería el precio final o el plazo de entrega. Me dijeron que tenía que pedir el producto antes de poder informarme. Pues nada, hay mejores alternativas por quien prefiere saber cuanto va a costar un producto y cuando estaré disponible.

Would have given 0 stars if I could

Would have given 0 stars if I could. Package not delivered because the "address is incorrect". Double checked it, all is correct. They repeat this a few times and return the package to the sender without ever notifying the recipient or even bothering to pass by the delivery address. Avoid like the plague and notify me in case you are interested in starting a class action suit against them. These companies have no right to be in business and their management and employees belong in jail.

Do yourself a favour, opt for other brands!

Do yourself a favour, grab a kindle, a tablet or anything else! The devices sold are slow, laggy and remind me of the early days of internet. Their software is not much better. The real kicker is that once you decide to TRY to get some books on your device you will probably end up chucking it out the window. After hours of frustrating attempts to get some books on my device, I chucked it in the bin and ordered a Kindle. The best decision ever! No windows or mac device will recognise the Boox reader, bluetooth transfer is impossible as the device never prompts you to accept so it fails. Do what they recommend, use the booxdrop app and you're in for yet more frustration. No browser supports the IP address and all just return an insecure connection that can not load. Make an account and try via their website and you will not succeed either. Basically, just do not waste any time and skip straight to other devices, you'll thank me later.

Unethical and untrustworthy, the worst!

Once in a while an online order gets shipped with zeleris by the vendor. This means only one thing. Money and time lost on for all involved. Zeleris does not even attempt to deliver. Neither do they call, notify or do anything else. They will list the status as "tu pedido tiene incidencia" a few times, after which nothing. Eventually, after two or three weeks, the package gets delivered to whoever sent it. No amount of calling them, attempting to reschedule or anything else will ever result in a single delivery attempt. There should be a class-action lawsuit against this company to put it out of business once and for all. AVOID at all costs!

Loteria... De vez en cuando bien, otras veces fatal. Lo que si es cierto, nunca cumplen los plazos de entrega. Productos pedidos y pagados hace unos dias. Hasta este mañana nada. Todavía pone que los van a entregar hoy pero el paquete ni siquiera está con el transportista. Si eso, por favor, avisadme o mas bien comunicar el plazo real. Pues nada, si no tienes prisa tienen alguna cosa a buen precio pero el servicio al cliente está fatal y los plazos de entrega sin cumplir, nunca.

Sentimos que tu experiencia de compra no haya sido satisfactoria. Con los datos que tengo no puedo acceder a tu pedido. Decirte que no tenemos todos los productos en nuestro almacén, ya que muchos de ellos, con la intención de que se envíen en las mejores condiciones y lo más recientes posibles, los recibimos directamente del proveedor y los enviamos el mismo día al cliente. Igualmente hay productos que se envían directamente desde el proveedor. Si el proveedor sufre un fallo de stock que no nos ha comunicado es algo que queremos evitar y en algunos casos es inevitable. Sí que agradeceríamos que contactes con los compañeros de Atención al Cliente para que puedan ver qué ha pasado y proceder a reclamar a la agencia de transporte la entrega de tu pedido lo antes posible.

No warranty on IEM cables

No warranty on IEM cables. I guess that about sums things up. I have various Penon headphones and cables and had so far been pleased with heir customer service. Unfortunately, my latest purchase included a cable that had a problem. The plug rattled and something seems to be amiss because I get unbalanced sound or no sound on one of the IEMs at times. The initial response was to please check it on another device, even though I indicated I tried it on 4 sources. Next I was told to send photos, which I did. Based on the photos, I got a message that it seemed like the shrink wrap had not been properly applied. Instead of taking this as an opportunity to resolve the issue by replacing the defective cable, I was told to unscrew the plug and see if I could not get it sorted myself. I did unscrew the plug but with the wrap being loose, I have no way to move it to look inside because the cable/wrap are to wide for the hole for the cover to move. When I indicated this to customer service, I no longer got any reply. So, now I'm stuck with a defective product, no solution, no refund and a firm conviction never to buy any more of their products. The cable was on sale for around USD 80, so no sense starting any legal action to try to recover it as that will cost more than I will get back. Oh well. Just be warned and buy local!

Ya no entregan...

Todo bien... Hasta que ha dejado de funcionar. Siempre entregaron aqui pero al intentar mi ultimo pedido me dice que ya no a este codigo postal. Segun la politica no deberia haber problema y hace semanas venieron. Pues ahora nada. Asi, mejor no perder el tiempo y comprar otros productos en la tienda en el pueblo.

No puedo darles 0 estrellas..

No puedo darles 0 estrellas... Como el servicio al cliente y lo que nos está pasando. Al vivir en el campo (provincia de Lugo), la fibra nos parecía estupendo. Hasta ahora usamos un modem 4G y va regular. Así una conexión fijo con fibra debería haber mejorado todo...

Pues nada. Al contratar Adamo, nos dijeron que un técnico nos llamaré en los siguientes días. Después una semana me puso en contacto y había cambiado el plazo de instalación a 7 días laborables... Un poco raro pero bueno, casi habían pasado de todas formas, así bien. Pero paso otra semana y nada.

De nuevo me puso en contacto y la misma historia, dentro de 7 días laborables. No llamo nadie pero lo que si es que empezaban llegar los SPAM de Adamo. Que invitamos a nuestros amigos para cobrar 40e de descuento. Por correo electrónico tanto como por sms.

Paso otra semana y nada. Lo único que los de Adamo te van a dar es dolor de cabeza y perdido de tiempo. Al final les he dicho cancelar el contrato por incumplimiento de servicio. No quisieron hacerlo pero al final lo han hecho. Lo que nos siguen entrar son los SPAM de ellos pero por lo menos nada mas.

Lo mejor de todo? Tenemos aquí por todo el campo los cables que pasaron con subvenciones de algún tipo. Hasta ruinas a mas de 1km del general los pasaron, poniendo postes y todo. Deberían quitar todo este basura para que queda mas bonito el campo. No sirve para nada y según nuestra experiencia, tampoco va a servir para nada.

Hazte un favor y no pierdas el tiempo con Adamo!

Giardini took my cash, but never registered my order as complete and shipped my products.

Giardini took my cash, returned a screen thanking me for completing my order and never sent a confirmation email. Next, I got an email asking me to complete my order. I generated a ticket on their website to advise them that something apparently went wrong, but did not get a reply. Next, a "customer service" representative contacts me to ask me if I need help to complete my order. Fortunately, I used PayPal, so I will get my money back, but Giardini is a big NO GO. They take your money, do not listen to your concerns or resolve any problems and apparently do not even bother to read any of their client's messages. Instead you get some generic reply offering to "help you with the check-out process". Do yourself a favour and use competing products.
