Take care which courier you use

I took extreme care in packaging a vintage radio. Used double thick cardboard box, loads of large bubble wrap plus other packaging. The addressee mailed me saying part of the radio was smashed, despite 'being well packed,' I have no problem with Interparcel but the chosen courier ParcelForce must have handled it roughly. Next time I'll drive and take it myself . So disappointed.

HP Envy Printer...Rubbish I hear you all cry out !

It's a minefield to get and HP Envy printing. HP SMart App doesn't seem to recognise any files other than PDF.
After several weeks of messing around every time I want to print, I feel like giving it the 'Float Test' and for those who don't know - it means throwing the printer of North Pier at Blackpool and see if it floats...Very disappointed with it and can't even finish the set up properly as many hundreds of others write to the online forum...Like many companies HP is sitting on it's laurels, having had a good run at sales and now being overtaken and trying to get ahead of the game with technology that they can't get to work...

Shark great fan, poor delivery

Shark - anraeasy site to navigate. Payment was fine but DPD were at fault with paid for next day delivery. The courier went to totally the wrong post code, wrong street and wrong house which he photoghed as proof of non delivery. Next day, different driver, delivery was spot on time. The fan is excellent and being used by my granddaughter to cool things down while making her chocolate Dubai's. Five stars for the fan.

The delivery service is getting worse

The delivery service is getting worse. Not only are parcels left outside in what the courier driver must think is a safe place, but they don't even bother ringing the door bell. I guess that is because they have to wait for an answer and 'waiting' is not a word Amazon likes to use.

An excellent Carpet Cleaner and Excellent aftercare.

Not only an excellent piece of equipment but 5 star customer service 14 months after purchase. My cleaner - a Vax Platinum Max was stolen during a house move. along with some other household goods. I couoldn't find my original invoice and I rang customer services. The lady was SO helpful, concerned and showed a lot of empathy. She quickly found my original invoice and emailed it to me so the police could be given details. I can only thank this lady with whom I spoke with around 2pm yesterday 15th April 2025. Great cleant, great customer service. I shall replace the stolen one with another similar carpet cleaner.

All that glitters.....

I went on Google this afternoon to search companies that sold cordless Car buffer/polisher. Google Sponsord banner showed AliExpress at £11+free delivery, clicked on and it showed £48+...went off and looked at other companies, went back to google search again and this time it showed £16+ £15 delivery... Seems to change every time I look at their advert, so complete waste of time . Looking at other feedback, I think I'm making the right choice of AVOIDING ALIEXPRESS

Emergency Assist - My experience

I wanted to change a vehicle as I had a new one. I didn't have my member number and therefore the system would not let me complete the change online.
I looked for a phone number and noted it said the hours for Saturday were 9am to 3pm. When I tried to ring the message said the office was only open Monday - Friday.
I then decided to just do a completely new vehicle application, which I did... I will have to ring the office on Monday morning to cancel my original vehicle which is still covered. along with my new vehicle. I wasn't very pleased with that..The application online form didn't follow seamlessly inputting info in.

Poor Service Co-op Delivery Blackpool

Once again Warley Road screw up the delivery. Only 10 items on the order.
The first courier brought Bag No.1/4 and No.2/4. I rang the store and they apologised and said the two bags were there and a new courier would arrive soon.
2nd courier arrived with only 1 bag, No 4/4 so no. 3/4 missing, I rang again and he said there's no no.3 bag. In frustration with the guy I said how pathethic their service was. I filled in the online form for the now missing potatoes....which I guess were in bag 3/4. I then rang customer services to complain about the Warley Road store and that they needed a kick up the backside. Unfortunately it's not the first time this has happened...It was an urgent order for 10 items as I can't get out easily, I'm 80 next year and rely on outfits like the Co OP...NO MORE THOUGH....
Co-Op Warley Road Blackpool FY1 2AG needs a warning outside - Service not guaranteed here...

Problem with VAX Steamer

Problem with the tank cap being stuck and unable to open to either empty or fill. I spoke to Gemma who took my details and said to send the unit back to VAX on receipt of a paid UPS courier collection.
The unit was under warranty
I was pleased with the attitude of VAX , her knowledge straight away of the procedure to return the item.
Full marks to VAX and their procedures.

Sainsbury's with only 1 check out open

Was in Blackpool Superstore 16/11/2023 A.M. Only 1 till open to check out. The queue was so long I had to go to the trolley check out. It was a real struggle with the assistant having to sort out the usual halts due to items incorrect or who knows what. My bill was in excess of £70 , I'm nearly 80 and it was the worst ever experience shopping. I was on the point of just leaving it all there and going home, let them sort it out.

Excellent Service

My front tyre shredded when coming off the M56 to join the M53 in Cheshire as I was driving down from Blackpool to visit friends on the Wirral. I managed to swerve onto the slip road leading to the A5117 and Cheshire Oaks retail park. Just through the lights was a small layby I drove into. Traffic was heavy and the weather was atrocious!
I rang Emergency Assist and the lady was very professional in determining my location and informing me of the procedure to have a spare put on. Bearing in mind I'm 78, arthritic , waiting on a cancer op there was no chance I coujld do it myself. Within 30 Minutes a recovery truck arrived and the operative changed the tyre in the pouring rain. I was so impressed with the speed he did it and despite being soaked he was friendly and courteous and advised me of a better route to my destination as there were large scale roadworks further up the road... From a state of near panic , I got on my way , calm and thankful for Emergency Assist .

Courteous guys

Vehicle was booked 7am to 12 noon for collection. Ended up around 3pm. However I was kept informed of traffic delays. Took about 5 minutes to load, do the paper work and depart..Lot of problems were due to a large hotel fire gridlocking the area around where i live.
Very efficient when arrived.

Amazon Prime Food Order - Morrisons Rump Steak 10oz

I ordered along with 20+ other items, Morrisons British Beef Rump Steak , 10 oz. Matured 21 days. This was yesterday and I put the steak in the pan for evening meal. I must say the steak was awful, tough and stringy. I had even bought new steak knives recently but that struggled to cut it...
The Amazon delivery was brilliant and all other items received were fine...Will order again but NOT STEAK...
