Golf care gave me a good deal to review. It's a service you hope you don't need, but it is reasonably priced and they appear to be the best in the business.

The cart was collected from the Avis desk in Tenerife. I had thew keys before the luggage arrived. First class. The car was what was specified and in good condition. Tip-make sure you get your excess insurance on line before you go. You'll save a fortune.

The fact the site flags up that it is cheaper for a purchaser to buy an annual policy if they are hiring for more than about 20 days (?) a year is laudable.If you are going to do several hires during a 12 month period, you are almost certain to be better off by buying the annual policy. They are honest enough to say so, and you will be back next year. The trick is to remember you have the policy when you make an unplanned hire later in the 12 month.

I remembered the Happy Hour was on a recent Tuesday and ordered on line. The money was delivered on the required day. The rate I got was 0.5 rand per pound more than the general tourist rate

I wanted to play golf in Turkey or Morocco, but the specialist golf companies did not include flights and the flights added a lot to the cost. I booked via Last minute.com, going with the 'secret 5 star hotel' option. The hotel was excellent. The girl I called to finalise the holiday was excellent , giving good advice on parking the car and getting the best deal. I reckon I saved more than £200 by booking the hotel via Lastminute.com, and then getting golf through the hotel. The hotel turned out to be a really nice hotel with great accommodation and food.
