Certainly won't be buying anything from this company or subscribing to any of their services after this debacle.
It defies belief really, I subscribed back in Jan of 2021 to their Xbox services, this was an introductory offer, for which upon realising I wasn't using it cancelled it on the first full payment of £10.99.
I know I cancelled it, yet Microsoft kept taking payments up until someone from their XBox customer services finally cancelled the service (after believing I had cancelled it again, but Microsoft failing to process it) in Feb 2022 and now wont give them back, they claim to have asked for my telephone number, then only gave me a day or so to respond, I have a severe chronic illness and suffer at times from fatigue.
I will be pursuing this further and seeking legal advice about due to a break of contract (as far as I am concerned) I am going to see legal damages, particularly them not wanting to deal with this problem.
This is just purely unacceptable and unprofessional conduct, they said they'd asked me for my telephone number several times, in reality they hadn't and find it really unprofessional using lies and deceit!
I would avoid this company at all costs!
For those seeking a refund after either Microsoft haven't processed or restarting billing period after cancelling contact Trading Standards, is honestly the best thing to do. I did that and have sent a deadlock letter (to show the courts I am trying to sort this out myself), going to get them sued if necessary.
