Don't touch the mystery boxes

I purchased a £30 Mystery box and before anyone says anything, I know they are a risk and you get the good and the bad. I got the bad and terrible and go this:

Journey Together Triple Blister - £14.99
Black / White Mini Tin - £10.99
Booster Pack rrp is £4.29 x 2 =£8.58

Yes, the RRP was over the £30 but honestly, I was really disappointed. Then, I messaged the FB and the person told me I should have called them to let them know what I didn't want in the box, it doesn't specify this in the checkout process or there are no prompts to do so, only when speaking to said person, did I find this in the description of the product, I mean do better.

I found this business through a fb group and it shows me the bad side of TCG and the persons attitude on FB page, poor at best.

I have logged a chargeback and I have returned the product and the person on the FB group was agressive again.

Apologies you werent satisfied with your order, I was surprised to see a negative review regarding the order as items sent to you are desirable recent sets of Pokemon and as you mention the value comes to over the total amount of money you spent. It clearly states on the product description for mystery boxes you are welcome to message us or add note to order requesting any items you do not want to receive and even request certain sets to be included. When you messaged us via facebook after receiving your order and you said you werent satisfied we kindly offered to refund the order in full for you if you wanted to return items back to us. We never receieved the items back from you and its been several weeks now but we did get a chargeback from your bank for a “fraudulent order” being placed for the mystery box and other items you ordered at same time.

Review of Monzo

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

From Banking Bliss to Bureaucratic Nightmare: The Downfall of Monzo

Once heralded as the future of banking, Monzo was a paragon of innovation, transparency, and exemplary customer service. Fast forward to today, and it's painfully clear that they've fallen from grace, plunging into the bureaucratic abyss that many traditional banks dwell in. As a loyal customer of both personal and business accounts over the past six years, I am deeply disappointed and quite frankly outraged by their recent actions.

The abrupt closure of my accounts without any explanation is the most glaring issue. Attempts to get a straightforward answer from their "Frontline" team are futile, met with endless cycles of "don't know" and "not sure." It's a far cry from the customer-centric approach that once defined Monzo.

Their once-efficient chat service has become a source of frustration, characterized by very lengthy delays. The interactions feel insincere, with a veneer of empathy that hardly masks the underlying indifference. Waiting for a response has become a test of patience, challenging even the most understanding of customers.

What happened to the Monzo that stood out from the crowd? It seems they've become just another bank, indistinct from the high street institutions they once aimed to surpass. Their pioneering spirit has been extinguished, replaced by a veil of secrecy and an over-reliance on rigid policies that seem to justify abrupt decisions like mine without proper explanation or accountability.

It's truly disheartening. Monzo has transformed into a faceless entity, treating customers as mere numbers rather than individuals. They've joined the ranks of those financial giants who prioritize policy over people, leaving devoted customers bewildered and out in the cold.

For anyone considering banking with Monzo, think twice. If you value clear communication and genuine customer care, you might find yourself disappointed. There are plenty of other financial institutions that can offer innovation without sacrificing reliability or customer satisfaction.

Monzo, this is your wake-up call. We long for the dynamic, transparent bank you once were. It’s time to shed the bureaucratic layers and rekindle the commitment to customer service that set you apart. Until then, you’re just another bank that's lost its charm and lost a customer for life.

Shower of ....

Argos. Argos. Where Do I start? We purchased a bush Condenser Dryer 6 months ago. This dryer was the biggest pain I have ever experienced, the thing is on something else, it beeps so much and takes 9 hours to do a small darks load. So we realised it was faulty, we tried to get through to Argos, who have become useless and difficult. So we were told to try and ring the engineers, after weeks of trying to get through, finally get through to Karen. Jesus this is hard work, can already tell. She gives us basic moronic advice, like "unplug and wait 2 mins" she's doing a static discharge, standard scripted response. I push her to get an engineer, we are 45 mins into the call just for this. Engineer cant come for 4 weeks + So I ring Argos back, again, after speaking to a supervisor, we get a date booked for a swap. The day comes, we get a text, 1 hour into the slot, gonna be late, we think that okay, 2 hours later. Cancelled. The text says someone will call within 24 hours to rearrange. Guess what? No one calls. We call again, we are given a voucher for a replacement, book in the collection, guess what? No one arrived to collect the broken unit. Despite multiple calls to Argos in the day, reassured "Driver is coming" today trying to deal with "peter" in live chat who was a man of few words, trying to book in the collection again he gives us a vague answer of 21st Of June driver will call prior to arrival after the job. With no time slot just hope to god they arrive. What a joke. I'm currently sat on live chat for someone with a brain to sort this. I have no clue whats happened to Argos they used to be mighty and easy now, their phone system is complex, the staff aint got a clue, their repairs are awakward. nightmare.

Be very careful

Sadly, we was using these guys as a dev team and I can honestly the owner "Matt" is on something constantly.

He constantly change, his mind so much about what he wants payments wise. We payed up upfront on deliverables and he didn't deliver.

Matts quality attention to detail is pretty poor and blames "bootstrap" for his delivery. When you question it, he gets rude and aggressive and threatens with violence.

He demands payments upfront and then delivers really poorly quality work and then demands the next payments, with poor work delivered. When you tell Matt, he's attitude isn't poor and so is his work, Matt then turns aggressive and sulks like a child, when you won't "bow down to him"

It's really sad having to write this review and we are going to be considering court action for refunds, which have been refused and especially when work wasn't delivered.

The worse service has ever had from…

The worse service has ever had from ANYONE. We purchased a camera and it's so far taken 3-4 weeks to get in the country and they seem to be using the fake reason of "Brexit" as the cause which is fine in some way shape of form but the information coming from canon UK is nothing. Not a thing. Just vague and non-committal. Their social media team have very little commmunication skills BUT they are alright, they have our £500

Review of Drover

God awful company & people

I’m so saddened to be writing this review but it’s a genuine review. Simply put drover don’t give a flying monkies.

We took out a second car for my partner and frankly it was a mess from the start.

The agents dealing with you are all outsourced. They show no compassion or empathy to any situation.

We both got our £50 refferal “discount” and that’s cool. My partners car was due to arrive by 9-1 slot. By 3 PM we hadn’t heard anything from anyone. By 6PM, nothing. We had cancelled all plans and gave up hope. We chased and got very little. The car arrived at 8 PM.

Drover will say “Due to COVID-19 blah blah blah” COVID-19 isn’t a reason for poor service. Not an excuse.

Drover have had £1k off of us. When a complaint was logged. We got told “if you don’t like it cancel your subscription” never heard so much waffle in my life.

Stay clear of drover. Avoid them like the plague.

Such a shame...

At first, I was really excited to find The Book People and they had some cracking stock
Options with pricing and we ordered the kids some books for Xmas. Then the news and about their Administration I felt terrible for the staff and immediately was a little worried about our order. I spoke to customers on their Facebook page and this is when things started to go wrong

1) told different stories and no real empathy
2) Can’t get through on the phone
3) I’ve unsubscribed from the email
Shot 15 times now and so far, all requests have been ignored (A GDPR breach of I’m
Not mistaken)

I can see why they are on administration, poor everything from the top. If you want books, go to Amazon. Which is a shame..

*update*

Our delivery arrived, however. There was one missing. No communication, no nothing. Just a “to be followed” when I asked “why” I was told it would come straight from the supplier. No one told me this and or wasn’t stated upon ordering.
Such a nightmare, as it was for my daughter for Xmas

scam *updated*

Complete scam. Avoid and do not trust.tm They arw rude and monkies are trained better. Ignore your emails and claim your £6 a montb service is now £60 god knows why.

Update as of 16th July 2014 - Dan Mellor has contacted me, offered to close my account and has dealt with this fairly decent and i believe there is no more contact from them. Seems they are trying to move on and change things around and still believe, the company needs to be more transparent within it's terms and charges. Hiding behind hidden charges, is the result of the 8 or 9 negative reviews for Call Ready. I wish them well and think they should invest into their website and make things more clearer. People would be fine then.

12 months free service was offered to me with no contracts.
