No Trouble Rebel

Great, very responsive Internet providers, with a catchy left-field name, who are perfect if you want a no-strings, month-by-month contract.
After a year's service, I'll be moving to a more permanent station soon -- and will definitely try to sign on for their cheaper, annual, provision deal.

Ocanvas? Oscammers? Oh No!

Do NOT, I repeat do NOT buy anything from these people. Undoubtedly a scam, selling at best uber-cheap and nasty China goods -- and not deserving of even one star.
Somehow they managed to jump the authentic Which? website, and insert themselves as a "recommended" product.
When I tried to cancel the order--with an hour of making it--they responded that the item "had already been dispatched", that they would take a 15 percent "re-stocking" fee and that I would have to pay for the shipping return!
Received a standard sharp practice response from a so-called Customer Service Advisor named "Lily".
Leave Oscammers well and truly alone.

The very best Internet provider by a galaxy mile. I have been a customer for close to 20-years now and Zen are brilliant, with the added bonus of wonderful customer care and service.
I can not recommend them too highly.

Better World Crooks

I ordered a copy of Nobel laureate V.S. Naipaul's "The Middle Passage" from these book cowboys on July 19.
Not only did they send me the wrong book (a copy of "In A Free State", which I already have) but they sent it totally unprotected in a thin and flimsy plastic envelope, which pretty much tells you everything you need to know about their respect both for books -- and their customers.
I have returned the book to them--wrapped in protective bubble-wrap and stiff cardboard book protection packaging, as every book should be dispatched--but, incredulously, they are now refusing to reimburse me for the cost of registered return postage.
As a customer who has been sent the wrong book, which they've admitted, am I also to pay out of my own pocket for their mistake?
Avoid these people like the plague.

Chor Bazaar

A month down the line, and a stream of emails later, and my issue with WoB has still not been resolved.
I returned seven Salman Rushdie books, with registered proof-of-postage (£8.19), and have only been reimbursed for six; with no sight of compensation for the postage, never mind the time spent on this issue.
Whatever happened to consumer rights? And the legal right of return and compensation for flawed and wrongly-described goods?
Right now happy to wash my hands of these Book Bandits -- and will most certainly never do business with them again.

Book Bandits

Book Bandits. Forget the euphemistic description, "circular economy", these suckers have about as much respect for books as Nazis on Kristallnacht.
Both given editions, key for the avid bibliophile, and book condition are more likely than not erroneous.
They take days to respond to valid queries and then have the audacity to charge for (very expensive) return postage.
My recommendation: Avoid like Covid.

A relatively expensive, but quality, product. Far superior to my previous shell case for my Apple computer. If you love your laptop and want the best protection for it, then I guess this is the one for you.

Sorry to see that Pret a Voir, a company I've patronised many times over the years, has resorted to "sharp" practices.
I bought a pair of very stylish Tom Ford sunglasses. Paid the requisite sum, along with postage.
Glasses arrived in perfect condition. But didn't suit. So decided to return them, using Pret's return scheme, within UK only, of posting free, on agreement that the sum of £3.50 was deducted from refund.
Lo and behold the blighters have just gone and double-tapped me. Not only deducting the cost of the return postage (very fair, and agreed), but also deducting the cost of the original postage to me, which I've already paid for in the original invoice!
Is this a scam, or what?
Just come off the blower after a lengthy and unpleasant conversation, where I was made to feel like a chisseler.
Just because I'm foolish enough to buy a pair of fancy sunglasses, doesn't mean I'm also stupid to not care about getting ripped-off.

Perhaps on paper a wee bit…

Perhaps on paper a wee bit expensive--after taxes and postage three masks, for example, cost around £10 each--but realistically far cheaper than suffering a bout of debilitating Covid-19. Triple protection, and at the end of the day one usually gets the quality one pays for.

Need Proper Wall Mirrors

Very efficient, well organised, relatively economical and dependable.
My only complaint, which stopped me giving a Five-Star rating, are the poor quality "mirrors" in open testing booths: more polished steel than proper mirror, which made it a wee bit difficult to clearly see back of one's throat and tonsils.
Otherwise, will definitely use this service again.
