Extremely Unreliable – You’re Better Off Taking a Fixed-Rate Taxi
There are plenty of fixed-fare taxis right outside Madrid airport — they cost €20 less and, most importantly, they actually show up.
I paid €50 per ride with Welcome Pickups. On the way there, the driver was kind and the car was excellent, but he went to the wrong terminal. On the way back, nobody showed up.

✅ On the way there, the driver was kind and the car was excellent — but he went to the wrong terminal.
❌ On the way back, no one showed up at all.
Let me be clear: I was waiting at the hotel 20 minutes before the pickup time, exactly where I was supposed to be. This was not caused by a flight delay or a last-minute change — the driver simply didn’t come.
So in both cases, I paid more and ended up wasting time. Had I just asked the hotel reception to book a regular taxi, I would have saved at least €40 and avoided the stress.
We waited patiently, but no one came. I expect a full and fast refund of €50 for the no-show. This is the bare minimum, considering the inconvenience.
Honestly, the old-fashioned way works better. Save your money and avoid the risk — go with a regular taxi.
