SHARP PRACTICE! HAD TO PAY MORE FOR LESS TIME WHEN DELAYED!

SHARP PRACTICE! WOULD NEVER USE AGAIN!
FORCED TO PAY MORE FOR LESS TIME
Booked car but because my connecting flight was cancelled and I was going to be 15 hours late I rang Carjet to say I still wanted the reservation but would be delayed. Told very aggressively that I would have to cancel and for 1 less day I would be charged far more than the original booking. Faced with losing my car when I arrived I had no option but to pay up. Then found car provider had no trace of my “new “ contract only my old one!! Spent 3 months trying to get answers from Carjet. Hopeless! Will never use them again

Review of Rentalcars.com

Rentacars are being let down by some of their suppliers!

We were impressed with the booking process and the value for money that was being offered. I was assured that there would be nothing extra to pay in the way of any insurances and that we would be completely covered. When we arrived we were told we would need extra insurance. After travelling for 14 hours you're not in a fit state to disagree and the last thing you want is to have your holiday spoiled because of a bump. So you agree!! Then we go to collect the car to find that there's none of that category left!! The staff shrugged and only after a lot of fuss they agreed to upgrade us. It would be a good idea to have clear information sent which sets out in language that Rentalcars, the consumer and the car hire company all understand showing EXACTLY what is covered and paid for because the rental company staff are only interested in making extra money!
