Got there ...eventually 🤨
We obtained a Netatmo Smart Thermostat through our energy provider. Which we loved. Great unit initially and the benefits were of course immediately noticeable. However just as we reached the end of our 6 month installation warranty with our energy provider the unit malfunctioned and stopped working completely. So as a result we had to begin a communication process with the Netamo people. There was no phone number available. All support needed to be initiated through the help portal on the App and all communication following was via email. Now the person we dealing with was very professional in their approach, gave us confidence that they could resolve the matter etc. However, and for me this is the reason why there are only 3 stars, and it is a big However!.. it took usually 5-7 days to receive a reply to every email we sent. Now when you are dealing with a complicated scenario which requires a lot of questions and answers this constant delay became extremely frustrating. And although the product was eventually replaced via courier for us to arrange installation ourselves it meant that we had no heating controls in place from Feb 13 until yesterday April 2. That simply reflects very badly on the company. We love the smart thermostat but are really hopeful that we don't have any other issues that require 19th century paced customer support.
