Got the Job Done, eventually
I as card owner tried to accept an insurance quote using the Tesco website. This attempt failed because the website security seems to prevent payment from a card(mine) other than the primary insured person (daughter). Two cards from different banks were both rejected and both were used elsewhere successfully. Both cards were validated successfully by their banks.
On return to the Tesco website the insured's name had been reset and the payment not accepted. How can you improve, simple, test the software!
The telephone payment could not be achieved by the agent using his computer either and had to be concluded "manually". The whole process taking over an hour.
