It was simple to book my latest coach trip via the National Express app. Recent searches are retained to make it easy to complete a booking, good choice of journey stops, excellent ticket prices and modern coaches.

It didn't seem fair to us that having booked accommodation through Booking.com a good while in advance, to be told there was a very last minute cancellation on check in day, at the request of the accommodation, that we felt left in the lurch, having to find accommodation at a cost of £400 more. We are a family of four, three of whom travelled from Spain to be there. We did try to contact Booking.com Customer Services, but the automated, AI bots offered no real support. Very inappropriate. We gave up, and we were very disappointed, particularly as we're long term, Genius 2 clients, two steps away from Genius 3.

My family and I had an enjoyable first experience on speedy Stansted Express. Lots of trains to choose from, Great service start to finish. We arrived in London, rested, ready for our tourist adventures.

Always a pleasure to deal with Goldcar (Mahon Airport, Menorca). Yolanda assisted us throughout, and we were very pleased with our nearly new VW T-ROC 1.5, 150cv, an upgrade to our booked Opel Mokka.

The quick airport transfer service is door to door (exclusively ours on the return leg), and it's clear to see that the entire rental team work hard to ensure everyone's happy throughout.

We really recommend Goldcar 100%. Sit back and truly relax. Our deposit of 1,400 EUR, plus amount for full fuel tank, was returned without any difficulty after returning our hire car.

FIRST HIRE:-

Goldcar, for us, have proven themselves to be one of the very best car rentals on Menorca. There are so many competitors, including alternative car hire insurance options, I guess this helps keep them on their toes.

We booked full insurance cover through a non-Goldcar company, and on arrival at their office in Mahon, were encouraged to take Goldcar's own insurance, but declined.

The VW T-CROSS SUV provided had just less than 10,000km on the clock. Most impressed with this car..

Although Goldcar are not based on site at Mahon airport, the well-organised transfer coach is only a short, comfortable journey away. The drivers are certainly helpful, local and friendly.

Our deposit of 1,400 EUR paid via debit card, was fully refunded within a matter of minutes of returning the car.

Overall, Goldcar provided a five star service. We will be happy to use them again.
