Our Emma mattress arrived promptly and was very easy to unpack. Didn't take long to achieve full expansion and we put it on our bed (king size) straight away. Although there is a slight smell we didn't find this unpleasant and it went within a few days. I have to say it's really comfortable and we are very pleased with it. An unexpected bonus is that it is now so easy to change the bed and replace fitted sheets - our previous half sprung mattress was so heavy to lift. Definitely would recommend to anyone thinking of a replacement mattress and the price was great too.
