Leeds - Commercial St. Branch

Having been a customer of Prestons twice at the Commercial Street branch, I was truly impressed by the staff and the excellent service that they offer. They do hands down beat a lot of the other companies out there, and the experience of the staff here at Prestons really shines through, providing a first class shopping experience for their customers.

I was particularly impressed by Zoe (Showroom Manager) and Jess who work at this branch, they are extremely helpful and have a wide depth of knowledge about the products in store, and watches in general. They are passionate about the field they work in and it really reflects in the service they offer.

The branch has a very good selection of different brands and styles at various price points to suit anyone who is in the market for a luxury watch.

I will certainly continue to be a customer of theirs, and I would highly recommend them to anyone I know.

Review of Dawsons

Wrong serial number! for £1600 guitar!

I ordered the Gibson Les Paul Classic Plus in Ebony Black online from Dawsons. I paid full price for the guitar at a total of £1600.

The delivery was quick and the guitar arrived 3 days later.

Unfortunately, they sent me one that was hanging up in the shop in their Leeds branch. When it arrived, the cream jack plate had a crack in it for when it was shop worn. 2 of the top hat knobs also had slight cracks in the surface. The worst part was that the serial number on the check list (and for the Gibson guarantee) was from another Les Paul and did not match this guitar at all. I contacted Dawsons who said I need to call the Leeds branch. At the Leeds branch, they said the the case + certificate for my guitar had gone to another customer so they wereunable to help. No refund or discount offered. I was unimpressed with how slap dash the staff seemed to take a sale for £1600!

I will investigate why you received a shop display item without being notified of the condition, as this is our normal policy.
