Disappointing

I was really excited to find a harness making business in the UK that promised to make a harness for my dog. I have a very delicately boned small miniature poodle and have been trying to find a harness to fit her as she has a very small neck but being a poodle has a large chest in comparison. I sent the measurements and payment but then didn't hear anything from them for nearly a month. Upon contacting them they apologised and said their machine had broken down and I would receive the harness within the week. I really think that when the machine broke down they should have contacted their customers still awaiting harnesses and explained the delay.
Then the harness didn't arrive within the week.
However, we finally received it and upon opening it I was immediately very disappointed. It is heavy, it weighs 3x as much as her previous harness but is basically the same size. It's covered in metal buckles and lots of very long straps even though I gave them specific measurements. I know this gives me lots of adjustment but I don't need that as she is fully grown. I had to adjust the metal buckles so they didn't rub on the underside of her front legs where they meet the body. She can't roll in the grass with it on as the buckles get in the way. She doesn't chase her sister as much because, we think, the harness is too heavy.

We did like the plastic clips as they weren't as tiny as on her previous harness so are easier to unclip and clip up. We did like the hoops for her lead which are sturdy and look like they'll last. It is well made and good value for the money just much too bulky for such a delicately built dog.

The cottage is very quaint

The cottage is very quaint and is adequate for two people and two medium sized dogs. The equipment provided is adequate if very basic and not allowing dogs upstairs isn't ideal. It was warm, sometimes too warm and some maintenance is needed on some aspects of the cottage. The bed is comfortable but would have been so much nicer facing the large window and being a king-sized so it really did feel like a 'palace'.

Could do better

Would have liked more updates on my order. I was expecting it at the end of August but had no information as to why it did come when expected.
Was a little disappointed with the quality of the plug plants, out of the 12 I ordered 3 of them looked rather sick but I planted then anyway and will be hopeful they take and blossom in the spring.

Good overall

Rather confusing receiving shop emails when I had signed up for the free trial.
We made excellent use of the app during our holiday - although we still managed to get lost! However, when we did we at least knew where we were, if you see what I mean. Really helped finding the right path when there were decicisions to make.
Did find however the app wasn't that great at picking up on the place when searching. I could also have done with a video on how to use the app and what happens when you make a route.
I will continue with the subscription for a year to see if it continues to be helpful to us.

Lovely plants

Plants arrived quickly after ordering. They were packed well and looked very healthy upon arrival.
There was clear information about each of the plants and they were also labelled clearly.
Price was good and I shall be looking at their website first in future for any unusual plants I might want.

Great jeans at last!

My first experience was disappointing as delivery took 6 weeks and then one of the items was cancelled by the company at the last minute.
However, the trousers that did arrive were amazing. At last I've found a pair of jeans that are comfortable to wear, don't fall down and look great - I've only been trying for 50 years!
So I ordered two more pairs and amazingly they came within the week - and just before Christmas which was impressive. They too are super comfy.

Unusual prescription filled beautifully

I have an unusual prescription as one eye is longsighted and one shortsighted. After verifying my prescription it was made up for me and sent. I am delighted with the glasses - so clear!
I chose a plastic pair with light activated tint. However, the ear hooks(?) aren't curvy enough and they slip down my nose. This is something an optician would be able to rectify - I've had to use a heat gun (carefully) and bend them myself. It's worked but obviously is not ideal. Also the tint doesn't go as dark as my pair from the optician.
The other pair are metal framed without tint and are just wonderful.
Overall I'm very pleased and will probably be ordering more pairs when I can find some on their website that I like.
One thing I would have liked to have seen is, when invoicing me for the order at the start, it would be useful to have a timeframe for when the payment will be taken after the initial 30 day free trial. I'm not clear as to whether this is from initial order day or when the glasses were set out. Would make budgetting much easier.

Easy to use and great printing

Setting up the photo for printing was easy. The fabric is thinner than expected but that's probably down to me not understanding fabric types rather than them. The print is lovely and will look fabulous for the cushion cover I'm making.
I would use them again (after researching exactly what type of fabric I wanted).

Excellent customer service

Delivery has so far taken 8 days (On Tracked 24) and now I discover not enough postage has been paid on the items so I still haven't received them until I pay the excess. Not at all impressed. Lets hope the actual sweets are worth the wait.
Update - Contacted Planet of Sweets who confirmed they believed they had paid more than enough for the postage. They gave me a full refund not just the extra amount I had to pay to get the weets delivered. Very quick to reply to my emails and very proactive in getting my refund to Paypal.

Bruised petals

Delivered on time. However, the blooms were much smaller than I had imagined. Many of the blooms were bruised (ie have black edges to the petals); four were broken. Disappointing considering the price paid.

Excellent for the price

Whilst there were some hiccups with delivery these were dealt with quickly and politely. I did receive my parcel eventually; it took about a month.
The dress is as good as one can expect for the money. I did have to finish trimming the scalloped lace on the neckline and cap sleeves but otherwise the dress is a good fit (XXL - I'm a UK size 14). The material is soft and gently stretchy and the length is perfect for me. The material use is generous with a lovely swishy skirt.
I would look to order other items in the future and, notwithstanding delivery times, I shall be recommending the site to my family for our big 'do' in the summer.
