A great experience with A C Wilgar from…

A great experience with A C Wilgar from start to finish. All staff we dealt with from Billy who was prompt in arranging an appointment to quote after our boiler died, all the admin staff, Lee who fitted the boiler, Charlie who fitted 2 new radiators and Ethan who fitted a further 2 radiators plus power flushed the system. All were knowledgeable, friendly and polite plus respectful of the property while working.
We will definitely use A C Wilgar for the annual service and future radiator changes.

Nice selection of clothes

With a lack of clothing shops in the high street I have had to look online for clothing. An advert for M&Co was fed to me so I took a peek and ordered a lovely black blouse which arrived quickly.

Lovely selection of clothes. I ordered a long line top in size 12 and 14 as it was needed urgently. I paid for next day delivery and it arrived on time - I returned the size 14 and the refund has already been processed.

Early days but so far, so good

My work colleague recommended Dr Dent whitening strips. They arrived very quickly after ordering- I've only used them 3 times so far but I'm sure they are already whiter. I found them a bit fiddly to put on initially as I felt they would slide off and I put them on 30 mins before going to bed so I don't need to talk!

• Wait 30 minutes after brushing and dry teeth before applying
• Press from the centre and smooth outwards

Good selection of home decor items

I ordered 2 lampshades which arrived incredibly quickly, were good quality and a good price. Unfortunately the colour doesn't go with our wall colour so I haveto return them and pay the postage (which is now the case with most companies other than M&S). Do check the return postage cost.

Good quality, good price

Very good price and definitely worth paying extra to have the sides hemmed. What I liked was that they left a gap for the curtain rod to feed through - with other companies I have had to cut the material at the top as where you feed the curtain rod through had been hemmed over. Until the voile curtains arrived I hadn't appreciated how off white our current voile was so I am very happy!

First class service from start to finish

My retainer from the dentist cracked after having it for 14 months ( my previous ones had always lasted about 3 years) - I was quoted £185 for a replacement. As I already had the impressions from some recent dental work, I decided to look online to see if there was any alternative where you didn't have to pay for another mould to be done, and luckily came across Venneir whose prices were so much better and I got 2 sets for less than £100. I haven't tried the 2nd set but have no reason to think they wont fit, but it is handy to have a spare. They were so efficient, keeping me up to date via email every step of the way, and within a week they had dispatched my new retainers. I have no reason to doubt that if I had encountered a problem, they would have resolved it as customer service is first class.

Zero customer service

Appalling customer service- received trainers in extra wide which were not ordered- I should not have to pay £4.99 to return them. Trying to contact Customer services is virtually impossible- you get sent round in a circle when you press " contact us"- no email address, no phone number- eventually got a bot and finally a "chat" with a real person who cut me off!! Read all the negative reviews of this company about trying to contact Customer services to return an online order, it needs to be investigated and I won't let it drop.
EDIT - Rachael at Customer services- how can I contact you by email, chat etc when you can't get in touch this way and the reason for 1 star rating. I've sent a message on your Facebook page- please reply on that.

Highly recommend the 322GW

Very impressed with communication and speed of delivery from Nextbase.
The 322GW is an upgrade for me from the 312GW which I have had for many years and the improvement in clarity etc is amazing - plus the added bonus of a bolt on rear cam .
There are so many accidents where people do not have a witness or the other party lies about the situation so this is an invaluable piece of kit.

Compulsory chipping from June 2024!

Although my cats are already micro chipped and registered with identibase, I couldnt find the certificates with the microchip number. An email asking for this information was replied to the next day - great service! It will be compulsory from June 2024 to microchip cats by the time they reach 20 weeks, and I would recommend this company

Best selection of the most comfortable beds and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable about the products. It is worth the extra to get a good quality mattress if it is to last 10 years - and interest free credit option was offered.

Poor customer service

I ordered a cardigan that arrived with a big mark on the back. I returned it asking for a replacement. 2 weeks later I had no acknowledgement so emailed and eventually received a refund minus the postage, which should not be deducted as their goods were faulty and I had asked for a replacement. Their website says free size exchange or refund of faulty items but this is not true. Not impressed and won't order from them again as customer service so poor/non existent - see their reviews under Roman originals which is full of similar complaints re customer service (or lack of)

I bought a TA approved Boots suitcase lock that wouldn't set a combination number, the replacement was also faulty - the Boots staff member couldn't do it either so I got a refund. My 1 star review was "moderated" and they decided it couldn't be published, no reason given. Like someone else here said, don't trust their glowing reviews as they don't publish the negative ones.
