Review of Fr Nuxe

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

I was sent used second hand products.

I purchased 2 gift sets with Nuxe during the after Christmas sale. One of the sets APPEARED absolutely perfect, the other one - the tamper seal had been opened and sticky taped over, which I wasn't too happy about, but as I was treating myself, not gifting it to anyone else I would have overlooked it had it not been for the fact that two of the four products had clearly been opened, the lip balm had a gouge in it and the hand cream tamper plastic had been removed and badly placed back on. This could have easily been missed by me had I not spotted the sticky tape on the box and only found out too late (I store things until I need them) to send back or it could have been a present for someone and been a massive disappointment to them. I have sent a message to Nuxe (as they avoid putting a telephone number on their website, although they are happy to ask for yours) to try and get a NEW replacement and postage costs/label to send it back, as I don't see why I should be out of pocket for their error. I cannot believe a supposedly high end manufacturer would make this kind of mistake, surely they should have some sort of quality control checking returns haven't been opened and used, so the don't end up flogging used germ filled goods to unsuspecting customers who are making fresh purchases in good faith.

Review of Boots

Don't deliver if you have reduced items/free gift.

Purchased a couple of items online, one of which was reduced, but had a free gift with it. Ordered for it to be delivered to Kendal store for free, ready to collect on Saturday 26th August.
I received a peculiar recorded message to my landline stating I would receive a text when my parcel was ready to collect. I duly waited for my text which never came.
The following Tuesday I phoned Boots to find out what was happening, and was told that there had been a problem, but it would be "pushed" through, and I should be able to collect on Thursday 31st August. Again no text, but as I was in no rush for the items, that was ok.
I rang Boots.com again on Tuesday 5th September to find out yet again where my delivery was. They told me the order had not gone through, but I could re order over the phone now and pay 60% more for the formerly reduced product, not get the free gift, but she was positive it would now go through.

Don't try purchasing reduced goods online, you won't receive them.

UK Fail don't deliver

I ordered an item from a third party seller on Amazon.co.uk on 29th July 2017. It should have arrived with me on Thursday 3rd August 2017. I noticed that I had received a push notice on my phone saying someone had attempted to deliver the parcel, but no one was here to receive it. I knew this was a blatant lie as my home is very small, has a very loud bell, I have perfect hearing, and I had not been out at all that day.
I then received a text telling me that I would receive my parcel on Saturday afternoon between 2.50pm and 3.50pm. It still never came.
I received another text telling me it would arrive between 9.24am and 10.24am on Monday 7th August. Whilst I was at home waiting on Monday 7th, at 9.40am I received another text telling me it would now arrive on Tuesday 8th August. Just 15 minutes later at 9.55am I received yet another text telling me it would now arrive Wednesday 9th August.
As all of the texts I received were from DHL, (I naturally presumed they were to deliver my parcel), UK Mails parent company I rang them up. It was only after I had given them my tracking number that they told me I had to phone a different company, UK Mail which they had bought out. I then rang UK Mail who had no knowledge of anyone trying to deliver on Thursday 3rd August, however the parcel had been out for delivery on Saturday, the driver did not know where my address was, made absolutely no attempt to find me, and could not even be bothered to call my telephone, even though he had my number.
Since on two separate days I have had to stay at home when I had planned to go out, I told the customer service operator I will DEFINITELY be going out on Wednesday, and if they were going to bother delivering it, it would need to be on Tuesday 8th. I seriously doubt they will make any attempt to deliver it anyway.
When I had looked at the order page on Amazon.co.uk there was a note saying that the address had been revised and advised me to keep my address updated. My address has been the same for 3 years, the problem was UK Mails incompetence. Amazon and for that matter, every other company I order from have no problem delivering to me.
This is the absolute worst delivery company I have ever dealt with and the put DHL to shame. I would advise that no one use this company, they are the worst.
I would also add that there are 86 bad reviews for this company, on Trust Pilot under "ukmail.co.uk." I myself originally left this review under that heading, because when I did a search for "UK Mail reviews" that is the first page to appear, not this one. On that page, the average score is 0.8, as opposed to this one, with a score of 8.0.

Review of Glasses Direct

Excellent prices, reasonable delivery time.

I bought two pairs of prescription sunglasses via an online voucher so only paid £20.95 for 2 pairs including delivery. Absolutely amazing! Really pleased with purchase and will definitely be purchasing from them in the future. I had an unusual prescription so the order took a little longer to fulfil, but arrived within 2 weeks (13 days). With normal clear lenses you can try before you buy which is great, and although with the sunglasses that was not an option, for the price I paid I was happy to give them a go.

Very Good Service

When I have bought directly from Amazon the service has always been excellent, the best prices and fast delivery, however you should be wary when buying from an independant seller, and check that sellers reviews on the site, I bought an HP adapter for my computer, it worked for a very short while, but because it was not actually the correct one (as advertised by the seller), it damaged the battery, so ended up costing me more money than buying the adapter locally would have done!

Review of Javari

Rated 5 out of 5 stars

Always excellent service and usually best prices

I have bought footwear a number of times from javari and intend to carry on using them in the future, delivery and returns are both free, for returning items you can either print off labels from your own computer or you can get them to phone you (immediate callback) and they will send you returns labels. Delivery is very quick, and the vast majority of the footwear is cheaper than you will find it anywhere else (when I am looking for a specific shoe or boot I will google it so I can compare prices online). You can't go wrong.

Very speedy friendly service

I ordered some supplements over the phone, and because I was buying in bulk, wanted to know the expiry date on them, the gentleman I spoke to couldn't help me enough, and the products I ordered arrived in less than 48 hours with free postage too! Excellent service, I will definitely use this site in the future and would recommend to friends.
