Swift delivery and just as described

I ordered a circuit breaker that is commonly used in industrial applications; but the one I wanted was to fit into a domestic board, to supply a distribution circuit, where 'C' curve is necessary. Stocks of these MCBs are not easy to find. WillRose had what I wanted and it came very quickly and it was the correct part.

In October 2024 Trustpilot denied my right to be heard.

In October 2024 I booked a shared room in a YHA Hostel and, when it came to bedtime, found myself in a room with a black, Nigerian, Muslim, who became aggressive and irate when I began to 'get ready for bed' alongside him in our 4-bed, shared room.
Trustpilot refused to publish my review of the service provided by the YHA in allocating shared living space with a person whose religious beliefs precluded this arrangement. I asked to YHA Management to intercede with my aggressive room-mate, on my behalf; but, they refused to do so. Neither would Trustpilot publish my account of my experience. I was placed in a frightening situation by the YHA and Trustpilot denied me the means to warn other Hostellers about the very real likelihood that they would be allocated shared living space with persons whose religious beliefs would not tolerate that arrangement.

UW simply ignore my correspondence.

Utility Warehouse did seem efficient, in that I was able to talk to a real human being. Unfortunately, when I began to have problems with UW, the available human being said they could not help with that matter: I would have to write. I have never had a sensible acknowledgement or response from UW to one of my letters.
The usual response is to state in an E-mail, that my letter cannot be understood because it dose not include my postcode and UW Customer Number. Of course, my letter did include those details from the outset. To each successive letter, the response was just the same.
Ten days ago, I posted a written instruction to terminate my relationship with UW, sending it 'Recorded Delivery.' The response I have now received from UW states that, due to the strict requirements of GDPR, they cannot satisfy themselves of my identity because my signature shows variations from the sample they have in their records.
Dealing with Utility Warehouse has been totally ineffective, from the moment when I needed to change my arrangements with them. UW simply ignore my correspondence.

This is my fourth NextBase dashcam

This is my fourth NextBase dashcam. The previous three were simple, forward-facing, cost less than £50 and performed faultlessly, recording events and overwriting files; and playing and transferring files when needed. I got them working easily without reading the instructions. The 522GW is a different matter. The User Manual is written like a sales brochure, rather than a technical document and information is buried in the text. The various leaflets that come with the 522GW are not reproduced, verbatim, on the NextBase website. They cannot be 'found' using their numeric reference number and some of the on-line file names are differ from those on the printed page. I am sure it is a good product; but, I am a lot less confident that my dashcam will have recorded an incident than I used-to-be. A Red Deer Stag ran along the road, last night; and, when I came to replay the footage, my memory card was full of 'locked' files from earlier in the week, with nothing recorded for the previous four days.

I have owned Brother MFC-7360N

I have owned Brother MFC-7360N, black and white laser copier/printer for about ten years and I have owned a Brother HL-3150-CDW for about six years.
The black and white printer has been reliable and scans and prints to a high standard. When I have had problems, these have been solved by searching on-line for solutions.
Technical Support for these products is non-existent. Having managed without technical support with the black and white machine, I bought the duplex-colour-laser 3150 expecting to get-by in a similar way; but, now it is throwing problems regularly and, after about 3,000 pages, I expect to recycle it rather than spend money trying to fix it.
A call to Brother Technical Support will begin with a strange, disrespectful, conversation, where you will be accused of using non-original 'compatible' cartridges. I have always used genuine Brother cartridges. Stating this will result in further attempts to persuade you tell the truth.
Let me assure you that, even if you manage to get the person on the other end of the phone to accept that you are telling the truth, you will never be referred to a person with technical knowledge of your machine.
Ring technical support and be humiliated, if you like; but, you will not get help.
I have just spent £450 on a Canon photo printer. My expectations are modest and I am pleased with the results at the moment. I have had a Canon IP-110 battery-operated printer in my work-van for the last six years and it has never given any trouble, so I am optimistic. I have never needed to contact Canon technical support.

I have had six years of NAPIT membership, while working for myself, at the end of a forty-year career in the contracting industry; and, as I read these glowing reviews of NAPIT on the Trustpilot website, my immediate reaction is that Trustpilot is not such a reliable source of information after all. Then, I reflect: how truthful can an unqualified, glowing review, ever be?

Tried to replace my trusty Regatta jacket and......

I have recently bought a Regatta Wentwood V 3-in-1 jacket to replace a quilted, waterproof, Regatta 3-in-1 that I had used for about ten years. The new jacket is the nearest available to the old jacket. It no longer has a two-way zip; so, reaching under the jacket in heavy rain is more difficult. The lining of the gilet (zip-in) is a strange fabric that exerts inordinate frictional forces on woven clothing and on wet hands, so that it is very difficult to put-on over wet hands. Generally, it is apparent to me that Regatta has been 'bought-out' as a brand and is being made to a much lower quality than once was the case.

Stadium 14L 3 Gallon Heavy Duty Yellow Builders Bucket.
These buckets are not actually Stadium produced buckets. They have a flimsy wire handle and are just a generic, cheap, bucket, like you can buy almost anywhere; so, the same probably goes for all the other 'brand-name' buckets on their website.

They had the part

After trawling the 'net, looking for the part that I knew would exist, somewhere; I came across Demon Tweeks' website and, after that, finding what I was looking-for was easy. Not only that: Demon Tweeks have been around for all of the 40 years that I have been repairing my own car, so I knew that the parts they supplied would be proven, good quality stuff; and the parts would fit. So, I was able to buy with confidence and I'm most pleased with the parts I've received; and, now the weather's warmed-up (at long-last) I'll be able to get out there, get down, and fit them.
