Advertising Misinformation

"I have serious concerns about the professionalism and stability of this company. During my interactions with their staff, I experienced abrupt disconnections and a distinct lack of customer service skills. The reliance on company policies as justification for their actions, instead of demonstrating ethical conduct and integrity, is troubling.

In an era where misinformation is a significant issue, it is essential to consider the impact of platforms that disseminate inaccurate information. While Yelp and its employees may have certain protections, the CEO should take responsibility for overseeing a platform that contributes to bullying, harassment, and even death threats directed at individuals, businesses, and families.

As a business owner with autism who has been involved in online legal disputes, I can attest to the fact that Yelp's policies facilitate harassment and make it easier for people to target me through phone calls. It took a full year for them to correct a simple spelling error, changing "Universiy" to "University." This demonstrates a lack of attention to detail and a disregard for accuracy.

I strongly advise against using Yelp for business purposes or sharing any personal information on their site. They fail to disclose that inaccurate information cannot be removed, and they have policies in place that protect the dissemination of misinformation. This is unacceptable and goes against the principles of truth and fairness.

My experience of being hung up on and told to be quiet by Yelp employees, which I have recorded, is indicative of a larger problem within the company. Yelp should seek legal counsel to address these issues before they face financial consequences due to their negligent practices.
