THE MOST INEPT ENERGY COMPANY IN THE UK

The most stupid energy provider there is.
I got a bill at my new address sent to "The Occupier".
I went online to register details following the link they provided on the letter and it asked for name address etc and then it said 'not a recognised account'.
Despite following THEIR link to set up a new account.
So I sent them an email and explained... That email bounced back with 'This email is not registered to an Ovo account'. So I called them and waited 15 minutes for them to answer, when they did I tried to pay over the phone only to be told, 'you can't pay until you setup an account. I said I'd tried that online and it didn't work. She set the account up over the phone... Great, I said, now can I pay!
No, she replied, you have to wait for an email to confirm the account.
I got the email, went through the account setup through the 'setup new account' link and it said we have sent you a confirmation to verify your email. It never arrived. Tried again. It never arrived.
So I called again (15 mins again) only to be told that the link wouldn't work for 48 hours. I wasn't told that on the phone and nowhere did it say that on the email and also why did it say 'we have sent an email to vefify you' when their system when it couldn't for 48 hours and even then not without me going through the process again.
LITERALLY, THE MOST INEPT, STUPID ENERGY COMPANY IN THE UK...!!!

UPDATE: They emailed me in response to this review, we exchanged a few emails, then they sent an email asking me to confirm my email...!!!
WHAT...?? We already emailed each other 4 times.

As I said... THE MOST STUPID ENERGY COMPANY EVER...!!!!

Can you please email us on trustpilot@ovo.com with your full name, DoB and full address including postcode? Please also include as much detail as possible about all of the times that you've had to contact us, so that we can look into this.
