If you live in the south of Ireland and want to return shoes etc they do not generate a label . After going through a lengthy process I found this out . I was told I could cross the border and send them . Royal mail does not accept addresses to print labels with addresses in the south . So beware returning anything to them read the fine print .

To clarify, we don’t generate Royal Mail labels for customers based in the Republic of Ireland, as this service is only available for parcels posted within the UK. When you reached out to us, as you were attempting to use Royal Mail's service we assumed you might be planning to cross the border to use a Royal Mail office, as many of our customers who live near the border choose to do this.
However, as outlined in the returns instructions, customers in the Republic of Ireland are able to:
Create a returns label via DPD, or
Use a courier of their own choice to return the item.
We do our best to make this information clear on both our website and in the returns email, so customers are aware before placing an order
