Very, very disappointed with Oka

I still don’t have the table and bowl I bought and paid for in April (it’s now the end of September). The issue is with Rhenus, the delivery service Oka use, but Oka chose them as their delivery company.

The only way to contact Rhenus is via WhatsApp where the response is numbered options and ‘we’ll contact you when your items are available for delivery’. Except they don’t contact me.

They have no functioning telephone numbers. The email addresses I have found online are ‘no response’. I am in a perpetual cycle of hell on WhatsApp which is the only way to contact them.

I have sent complaints to Oka but they don’t bother responding either. I am at the end of my tether and about to contact the ombudsman. I won’t be ordering from Oka again.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We are very sorry to hear about your recent experience and the frustration this has caused.

We can see that our colleague, Nikki, contacted you on 1st October and explained that the dining table was returned to us by our previous delivery partner, Rhenus, and that a full refund for the table was processed on 16th May. She also apologised if the return was not initiated by you.

In regard to the bowl, Nikki advised that it is currently due back in stock in early December and offered to either arrange a replacement or issue a refund. Kindly respond to her email to confirm your preferred option, and she will be happy to action this for you.

We no longer work with Rhenus as our delivery partner, having changed providers earlier this summer, and we remain committed to ensuring a much-improved delivery experience going forward.
