Terrible Experience – Do Not Buy from Leroy Merlin / Direct Comfort/Viggen Komfort
I purchased a mattress from Leroy Merlin (Direct Comfort/Viggen Komfort brand) and it has been one of the worst buying experiences I’ve ever had. The mattress itself is unbelievably hard and extremely uncomfortable. When I tried to return it under their so-called 30-day return policy, I quickly learned that this “policy” is misleading.
To return the mattress, I was told I needed to send an email, fill out forms, and then pay for the shipping myself. On top of that, I was expected to somehow repackage the mattress—something that is practically impossible once it has expanded out of the original box. The shipping cost alone would be about the same price as the mattress, making the return policy completely useless.
This is not real customer service. They do not stand by their products or their promises, and they make it nearly impossible to exercise the return policy they advertise. I am now stuck with a terrible mattress and no real options.
Save yourself the headache and avoid buying from Leroy Merlin or Direct Comfort/Viggen Komfort.
