rrp money for seconds

brought brand new sofa , arrived and it was damaged , they had to come out and inspect it , 1 day of work lost , then they had to come out a second time to repair it , 2nd day of work lost. over £300 at a cost to me . was told they would offer me a good will gesture once the work was done why when the repair is done ?? when the repair was done , i was sent an email offering me the cost of a takeaway £40. id rather have a brand new sofa that i paid for and not a repaired one. i found £40 an insult and would rather you didn't both to offer at all. ive sent an email back lets see where this goes . i will add DFS to my email signature . so every time i send an email i will spread the word its the only way i can make my voice louder

Thank you for sharing your experience with us, we do appreciate all feedback and we are deeply sorry to hear about the issues you have faced. It is very disappointing to hear you are also unhappy with the resolutions presented and the subsequent handling of your concerns.

After looking into the order I can see the furniture has been fully restored by our engineers who are upholsters by trade. Despite this, we appreciate you remaining unhappy and we have arranged for the manager dealing to revisit this with you.
