With Parentshield, you have a portal to access and input phone numbers for your child to be able to call and receive calls from. Unless a number has been added to the safe list in the portal, your child can not send or receive messages/calls. There are also words you can input into the portal that will trigger an alert to the parent if child uses them or receives them. There is also the option to record calls made and received and to record all messages sent and received. With the tamper proof nature of the Balance Phone along with a Parentshield SIM, it gives peace of mind to any parent. My son is also thrilled because the Balance phone is a Samsung Galaxy which has been locked down by the makers of the Balance phone so my son is pleased to have a dumb phone disguised as a new smartphone. And no social media or access to games. Perfect!
