DONT BUY FROM SMASHINN - THEY don't give you your goods, just keep your money and make lame excuses

They delivered to the wrong address, the wrong town in Ireland. I chased the courier who told me to follow up with smashinn.com. I followed up with smashinn.com who conveniently say that the investigation period is over to make a claim ..... NO Customer appreciation and they have kept my Money. Timeline...
Ordered on 29 July.
Delivered confirmed 7 August - I had to check my neighbourhood for delivery as it did not arrive to me. I contacted the courier on the 7th August.
I recontacted the courier on 11th August as I had no response. We had a number of interactions that day they said they were trying to retrieve the package.
13th August Courier states they could not retrieve the package and to follow up with a claim to smashinn.com .
On 28th Aug I contacted Smashinn.com in-app to get the ball rolling - the response was just that the package was delivered - ie they mentioned and acknowledged nothing about the wrong address. Later same day I sent another in-app message to their customer service and received the same lame inconsiderate response.
On 29th I started an online chat and provided emails from DPD the courier and the photo from DPD showing a wrong delivery location. Smashinn.com respondsed that they would investigate and revert. I was happy with that - as I expected to be reimbursed or have a new delivery made the the new address. On the same day a response was received from Smashinn.com that the order exceeded the number of days to make a claim for non receipt of a package!!!
On 31 August I responded requesting escalation and stating how their response was unacceptable.
On 2 September I received similar response from Smashinn.com basically saying claim period ended and can't conduct an investigation... This is disgraceful customer treatment from a customer who has done everything they thought was correct............. They have stolen my money.

Also no time limit mentioned in their FAQ : What can I do if the tracking says that my package is delivered, but I don´t have my package?
If the driver completed the delivery, then the package´s tracking status or a delivery notice should indicate where your driver left the package. Shipments that don´t require a signature can be left in a safe place at the driver´s discretion. This could include the front porch, side door, back porch, or garage area.

If the tracking status indicates that the driver completed delivery and obtained a signature, the package might have been signed for by a neighbor or another resident at your location. If the driver delivered your shipment to an alternate location, you should have received a delivery notice that indicates where the shipment was left (for example, a neighbor´s house or leasing office).

Check with others at your address, or perhaps a neighbor, to see if someone else has picked up the package. You can also check around the entrances of your residence for the package, particularly on back porches, bushes, garages, grills, or other places that might protect your package from theft or weather. Note that drivers may also use plastic bags to protect your package from the weather.

If you still cannot locate the package, contact the shipping company directly. Shipping companies have their internal systems that can check the delivery status.

Finally if the shipping company confirms that the parcel was delivered and you suspect that the package may have been stolen from an apartment building, the mailbox or the doorstep of your house, you have to report the theft to the police. Please send us a copy of the police report so we can start the claim process with the shipping company.

In order to submit the claim, please log into MY ACCOUNT, select the order, click on Contact and finally choose the option: I have revised the tracking and I have a problem with the shipment of my order.
