Refusing to collect and refund

Ordered a slide via Argos. It was delivered faulty which has been acknowledged by Plum Play yet after many weeks they still refuse to collect it. They offered to send a new one which we refused we just want a refund as is our right for faulty products. It makes no sense as they would have collected it if we accepted a replacement but refuse a refund. I'm still trying to get Argos to sort out as I paid them and Plum is their 3rd party supplier. I would not order from this company again.
