After 4 Years of Loyalty, Hetzner Locked Me Out and Threatened to Delete My Data
I have been with them since 2021. Decent and cheap web hosting. But until some changes in their payment system. Just because my monthly bill is too small, they have merged 3 months into 1 payment. It is not always easy to monitor when the 3 months has done a roundtrip (appreciate the reminders) and when I should expect an invoice. Once it's received, I don't even get a month to react and I get threats that dept collector agency will knock on my door and request the 6€ I owe them. And top of that, my services were blocked and my business got disrupted. The 3 months period and then 2 weeks to get it cleared is unbalanced, locking out and sending threats is shocking.
Before coming here, I did emailed them to get to the bottom of this, but the staff who's name I believe is [removed]. was not interested to look at my complaint. Shocking. Not even apologized for disruption of my business.
I am rating Hetzner with 2 stars just because they have competitive prices, but the customer care is horrible.
If someone from Hetzner is reading this - Do not ask me to follow you up with more details or anything, instead ask your staff who dealt with me and then work it out. You weren't interested to solve my complaint, so now I'm not interested to update this review.
