BitPay canceled my payment without any valid reason — no timeout, no error, nothing. The merchant (Namecheap) confirmed they never even received it. Now BitPay refuses to return my funds unless I hand over full government ID for KYC. This feels like an intentional scam to collect personal data — holding customers’ money hostage until they comply.
