Awful experience trying to cancel BT

Awful experience trying to cancel BT. I switched to YouFibre, who contacted BT telling them to cancel my plan. I got a confirmation email on 27th June saying that they received this cancellation request. Called them on 2nd July and they said they did not hear anything from YouFibre, but confirmed that they will cancel my plan in 30 days. I called them again today (9th August) and they were unaware of the cancellation so told me I needed to give 30 days notice. Luckily, the operator was able to reduce this to 9 days (18th August). We will see if I ever get my last bloody bill! I just want to leave!!
