Wish I had seen all these reviews pre buying a a 99p course. In clicking on a link to pay for this course, I fell into their trap of unseen and unknowing legal scam. I unknowingly agreed to a 30-day trial that I did not want, and was charged £276 for a 12-month subscription after the 30 days. No confirmations, no warnings just take the money.

£276 for a subscription to a service - how can they get away with doing this and making their money like this (money I do not have to spare)

A joke of a business model and looks like I have lost a lot of money. I feel silly for being scammed and this has put me in a massive bad mood as now at the start of the month I am down a lot of money. Shame on you Domestika. Bank claim going in.

Hi! Our goal is to make every step of the Domestika Plus free-trial clear and easy to manage.

How the purchase works:
- You can choose between the reduced price or the regular price. With the reduced price, the banner itself explains that a 30-day free trial will start, showing the exact price that will be charged if the trial isn’t cancelled.

- Once you move to the checkout page, the subscription details appear again, clearly visible above the course being purchased, to ensure transparency. If you choose not to have the subscription, which is possible at that moment, you can remove it, and the course price will be updated to the regular rate.

- Notifications are sent to the email associated with your Domestika account during your trial period and you can cancel before the trial period ends from Profile › Subscriptions.

About the charge you received, it seems like the trial wasn’t cancelled before the estimated period, so the annual membership was billed automatically.
