Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs – Debenhams are scamming customers.
I returned a chair weeks ago using their own courier, and they confirmed receipt. Yet I'm still chasing a refund. Customer service is a revolving door of different agents giving me nonsense updates — the latest being that a refund was requested but not processed, and I should just keep contacting them.
There’s no complaints system, no accountability, and no resolution in sight. I now have to go through my bank to recover the money — just like many others.
Their Trustpilot rating speaks for itself. This is not the Debenhams we used to know — the quality is poor, the service is worse, and they’re holding onto customers’ money despite receiving returns.
Absolutely disgraceful. Borderline fraudulent. Be warned.
