My damper became loose after ~18 months of occasional use. I've gone ahead and created a case with Fanatec. To my surprise - they picked up a case within a few business days and based on the video made demonstrating the problem, they sent me new damper right away, without any further discussion. This is well beyond my expectations (I thought they will ask me to send it back for verification and let me wait a few weeks before decission) and I really appreciate this level of service. Way to go, Fanatec!
